    I use smith hives they are really easy to make just a square box basically nothing fancy like the national no big hand grips just grooves in the side for your fingers cheers for the advice about the ringing think I will just go for it now, are you still training or are you by your self cheers aidy PS beekeeping is great its not as easy as you might think swarm control is a pain

    I have been keeping bee about 10 yrs now and never seen a swarm leave the hive collected a few that was brave of you to sit with the swarm buzzing around you most people run for the hills you did the right thing though they are their the most gentel when they first swarm because their guts are full of honey and cant sting . still pondering about the ringing the one closest to me dosent do all species but theirs a one a few miles further away that dose all species plus I don't know what to put in the box that askes what do you want to get out of ringing and why do you want to ring I think that

    bees are not just good for honey mine just got me a bit permission just went to check them at the farm today and the neibouring farmer was their got chating and he said the rabbits were hamering his corn he gave me the nod to get them done after the crops come down definatly get me long net out for this one buzzing atb aidy

    Theirs a good video on you tube some guy made a good fox trap with a shopping trolley and it worked well he caught a badger non target species and released it unharmed So that's the way I would go cost next to nowt as well best of luck which ever way you go and get it caught atb aidy
