  1. It depends on what style you like mate theres a few good lines just now also the training that goes into a dog is a big factor .
  2. Think he's a field trial judge hel keep you right mate
  3. Fair Point. As mentioned before, I've got a spaniel trainer close to me, Plan is to try and spend some time with him. I'll just be watching and learning. whoes you're trainer mate
  4. Sporting saint has them think there about £130 mate
  5. My dogs are in the house as pets Millie's works just as good as any dog on the shoot she's even won a couple of tests so I wouldn't worry about the kids having fun with the pup I even get the kids to help me with training
  6. He wants the dog do do a bit of everything so a terrier no don't be silly lol
  7. I personally think pups are to cheep if the price of pups was much higher then the rescues wouldn't be so full put it this way how often do you see french bulldogs in rescue centres
  8. No chance a lab can't work cover as good as spaniels can I'm no saying the can't be used for rough shooting but they can't hunt like a spaniel. A well trained springer is in my opinion the best all rounder . Same time a lab is the best for picking up or wildfowling no saying a spaniel can't
  9. I was trying to upload a video of her but It won't work
  10. Hi Dave I really enjoy the small walked up days and yes I'm very happy with her progress . She's a good hard hunting wee dog
  11. Hi lads and lassies I've been reading this forum for a few weeks now but never posted. I've got an ess and a new pup coming soon. I love training my dog and shooting over her I only started two years ago so I'm very novice . So if I make mistakes or say something daft remember I'm just learning. Thanks all peter
