  4. saluki cross-every time, what other breed what take fox hare deer rabbit at night and then 3 out 3 in the day????
  5. matching dogs on the lamp on hares, heard it all now,if the dogs such a good hare killer why dont you match him in january in the day. heres a stud dog for you http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/2512/picture097zn6.jpg snoop is gona know all about him come december
  6. i wouldnt say he was 1/2. how do you know it hasnt been worked tho, well done to your mate for giving him a chance tho
  7. nightmare snoop, had a dog collapse and fit before, when i looked he had 2 wasps stuck in his fur stinging him,i pulled them of and he looked like he was on his way out,i dipped him in a barrell of water and it brought him out of shock and he came around. nothing worse than not knowing what has happened, tell him to keep his chin up mate and remember the good times.
  8. people are ruining this site, waiting behind their computers, ready to slag people of and tell people how to hunt and when to hunt. half of them probably keep a pack of shite in their kennels,as they seem to be on her abusing people rather than out with their dogs be it,hunting in winter or just out in the sunshine in the summer.probably the pricks that you would meet at a show or in the pub that tell you my dogs do this and that, and they catch endless game, when the truth of it is,they do feck all except spew shite out of their mouth, and dream they were out like the true dogmen.
  9. foxes need to be controlled all year around, this time of year they are especially a nuisance to farmers,so well done lads keep at it and dont listen to the allmighty armchair hunters telling you what to do and when to do it. i dont go out lamping this time of year but if i had a pup then i would, and if i was out walking the dogs during daylight and a fox popped up,then i cant say i would stop them
  10. had a discovery, good vehicle heavy on juice tho,it was going well untill some prick in a fiesta wrote it off ive got a nissan D2 single cab now, loads of room for the dogs and better on juice than the disco, mind you its a good few years newer than that, havent taken it off road properly yet tho.allso got subaru between me and the boys for coursing, its the kiddy.
  11. they dont really stop once started doing it on a regular basis, they can quiten down but never stop totally, ive heard dogs do it on the one off and never do it again.my first lurcher did it and never stopped i was devastated as he would take any quarry, and would have been a top dog if it wasnt for the yapping.if its in them then you just cant stop it.
  12. the odd hare and the odd fox, doesnt make them all rounders
  13. most of these pics are with dogs doubled up.says it all really. i agree totally with markbrick, they can be good fun bushing tho, with their off the mark speed, they just lack the stamina for long hard, cold nights work in my opinion. there are ones that take fox no doubt, but as a whole the bigger percentage doesnt, and the ones that do will without a doubt have the battle scars to prove, its wrong really to put such a small dog into a fox,as its gona come out of the fight totally smashed,as thats all it is,is a fight.
  14. great little ferreting dogs around holes,as for all rounders a higher percentage are not.
  15. looking shit mate, was supposed to be staying for weekend, but cant see us bothering now.
