Exactly rat pack! He wasn't overtly funny with me just looked at me in total disbelief lol! -
Got bored so decided before it got dark I'd have a quick last walk with the dog! First incident I climbed a wall with wire fence at the other side! Pip then followed me slipped on the snow landed on the blasted wire and cut her back leg! Nothing major but has lifted a flap of skin! So carried on through a few more fields all of sudden charged by a flock of sheep through a hedge! Pip my 7 month old whip/sal/grey stood at my side like a rock and we carried on past! About 20 mins later I saw a car stop on the road on the horizon I recognised the shape of the car it was pc plods pathfinde

Yep it's true there is a bit on YouTube about It todo with monitoring fox hunts! On the upside someone using one of these would Need to have a good clear area around them to fly it so you would spot then rather than them being sneaky and second a lot of packs flush to guns now so obviously a shotty could be to hand and it could easily be mistaken for a pigeon! :-/ sort of haha -

Building Muscle In A Lurcher
Rogue and running dog replied to mr t's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Maybe lad means ripped instead of muscled and it's a bad choice of words! Maybe he hasn't had the best of seasons and thinks he could improve his dogs fitness for next season and what's to plan in advance to get things right so next season he has some better sport! Everyone is so quick to slate! And not look at reasoning behind why he might be asking the questions! -

Rogue and running dog replied to moocher123's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Haha I love the challenge and when she gets her head down and starts running I can see its going to be worth it! When she nailed that bunny I was chuffed to bits! I whip in to hounds aswell so I enjoy the thrill of the chase! Obviously drag hunting with the hounds though :-) She doesn't travel well at the moment although she is getting better! Any tips for settling their stomachs before going in the car? Obviously I don't feed her but anything else would be great -
Lads Lets See Ya Pups For This September
Rogue and running dog replied to moocher123's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Our family has had a lot of dogs and she has so far been the hardest! I've been very careful introducing her to stock but I've had her out for a few miles today walked her round some sheep on the lead! Se was very good so I finally took the plunge and let her off! She stayed at my side and never gave them a second glance! The recall has been hardest although the last few weeks she has noticeably matured! Se has had a tendency of going through a stage of being fab to been a night mare and me pulling my hair out! But If I showed one bit of annoyance she picked up on it and stood off so patie -

cross-friction massage
Rogue and running dog replied to mikeball's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
Cross friction massage is a very simple type of massage! That aids in getting fresh blood to the area! There's no great science to it and you would be fine doing it yourself! But what I would say is ha if your doing it around damaged ligaments and tendons be careful not to put too much pressure n as you could cause harm! If you've got a specific problem pm me might be able to help ya -

Have fun pal -
Well it started well my mate got to my house for about 5:45 with ferrets gear and everything loaded up there was only time for one more thing a bacon and sausage sarnie and off we went to today's hunting grounds. Once we got there we set off to the first set of holes, the day started off well at the first fence where my mate mad e a complete hash of getting over it and ended up sat on his backside on the other side much to my amusement. Walked abit of land back to the holes and netted up! With not such a long wait the first rabbit was in the net! And after i missed one that escaped
