    If it's just hanging by a bit of skin then I would cut it off, clean it and bandage it up. Clean and change dressings every couple of days ;-) Had a few problems with dew claws on the terriers when I was a boy. Never had dew claws on a dog since ;-)

    They are about the west coast, but patchy distribution, last years hot spots are often dead, yet other places are heaving with them. Argyll. My dogs have been feeding on Mackerel for a while now, among other fish and stuff. I never buy mixer, but my dogs also get my food waste.Just heard that they are in around the west coast of Scotland ;-) After BS's comments I was thinkin about hittin Blyth for a fishy weekend...mackerel by day...ladies by night :-D

    Just looked at the Tay levels and they're below summer low. 1st time i've seen that in years. I take it the North and South Esks are a trickle?

    It's hellish mate. Always the same with summer salmon fishing. All the rivers are at summer low just now...even the Tay though they are still picking away at them. Might be worth a cast there til we get a down pour

    I had a few on my ferrets last year. Gave them a bath in the sink and washed them with a tiny amount of dog flea shampoo. Done the job
