    Ex's

Been there...done that. If you haven't been bad to them in any way and you're a big part of their lives then no court in the land will stop you from seeing them. Avoid the bullshit with the x...have no contact with her and ffs don't go to the door as she'll call the cops and they have to respond. Go straight to a lawyer!!!
  2. You mean threaded bar? I no nothing about wood repair car body repairs or engines no problem wood no idea at all Yip. Screwed rod...threaded bar. If done correctly and with the right adhesives then it should be stronger than before it was broke. I don't think it's worth spending hundreds of pounds on new stock etc as there's only so much you'll get back for it when you sell. A good project though and and worth while doing ;-) Apprently there is a rod running down the grip already!! Didn't know that mate. Do the 2 pieces separate completely?

  4. You could try 2-3 screwed rod type dowels fixed with an epoxy type resin that's suitable for the materials. Epoxy on the dowels only and a pva wood glue on the faces of the wood. Lightly sand in, clamp it and leave it over night. If the 2 pieces fit together well then it wouldn't be noticed unless pointed out. Good wee project...best of luck with it ;-)
  5. Between this nugget and Tom Ward earlier...i'm off to watch One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest

  10. It's not trout but mine are on minced salmon a couple of times a week and they love it. High protein and oil so it's good for them into the bargain. Got some mackerel the other day...chopped it up and stuck in freezer tubs. Tossed them a few chunks and they loved it. The heads went in the ferret cage never to be seen again ;-) Out mackerel bashin again with the kids tomorrow. They're happy haulin them in and the freezer will be full for the mutts so everyone's happy ;-)
  11. Would it not be better to have 1-2 really good workers that you can concentrate on and will use regularly rather than having 5 mediocre ferrets that only get worked occasionally??? Just a thought ;-) I had 2 litters this year so could've had as many as I wanted but I have 2 from last year. 1 had a good 1st season and the other will be getting worked more this season!!! They'll be the main workers for the next few seasons then I'll breed and keep 1 or 2!!! I haven't got 5 mediocre ferrets. I've got 6 useless ones They're all like that at the start. ATB with them ;-)
  12. Lol. You have been here too long. Addictive though at times...especially when the saluki brigade start :-D
  13. Is that the 1 that ended up with the baldy napper? ;-)
  14. Is there such a thing as "micros"? Are they not just runt to runt bred or smallest to smallest?

  19. You'll have her out running it on the rabbits next ;-)
  20. Aye I understand that mate, what I'm interested in is why ? It's not like she was baiting it was she so whats the reason, overpopulation like Foxes forcing it to come out during the day to source food ? I don't think it's over population as there aren't a lot about...not where I am anyway. The badger's out for a daytime forage...came across a dog...felt threatened and attacked it. The dog obviously got close enough to it. Nothing sinister in that!!! Could it possibly have been attacked by dogs before?
  21. It's a totally wild animal mate and has done what wild animals are capable of doin if felt threatened!!!
