  1. I've got a 95lb Bull Grey x Presa. Looks the part and goes mental if someone comes around he doesn't know. Dont think he'd have the stones to follow through and go for someone tho. Or is that just coz he's been brought up as a pet and he's been trained never to bite?? I mean with a big dog like this you have make SURE he'll never bite otherwise your just another irresponsible wanker that get dogs a bad rep or you end up in the nick when your dog goes for a kid.
  2. Well firstly, thanks to Simomam for saying I'm literate and honest. I am. Secondly, thanks to Fay who has brought our attention to just how much people on these forums love to use these discussions as a means to score points, annoy people and generally piss on each others arguments. Lastly, a big thanks to Crorider, who despite the piss taking he endures, he makes some good points and is one of the few people in this discussion who seem to have an open mind on this topic. I've owned dogs from peds to mongrels all my life. Bottom line; a good dog is a good dog, regardless of breed,
  3. As requested I've added a couple of pics of the Presa cross Saluki Bull Grey. He's about 1 year in the pics and has added a few kg's in muscle since. Hopefully they will open; It seems some folks are getting off topic here. I repeat. I know he's not going to be better/faster than whats already out there. My question is will the Presa power and attitude bring something new to the table if put over a good bitch?? Cunners
  4. Thanks to those who have contributed so far. I appreciate the time. As I said in my original post, I'm not from the hunting community and so find your responses very interesting. I totally get the point about about working him extensively and seeing if he will prove himself. That makes perfect sense. However, I dont think he ever will take more than the odd rabbit, duck, pheasant (as already done) because its obvious to me that he his just too heavy for that to be realistic. When out he hunts constantly and is really quick over the long run and has gotten very close to Roe Deer on a co
  5. I own an 18 month old Dog and I am cosidering putting him up for stud duties. I would appreciate some advice on whether this would be an interesting proposition for anyone on this site. His Dam was full Presa Canario( Black Brindle) from J7 working lines. The Dog was a working Saluki Bull Greyhound (Blue) from high quality Welsh stock. He is 27" TTS and weighs 40 kg's lean. All black with white chest flash. Very strong and quick, jumps 5 bar gates for fun. He has a really excellent nose. He has quite a lot of Presa features but he has thrown more to the Bull Grey in my opinion. He
