Romney marsh is huge. It's not all red hot. There's places to go. One of the first breeding populations of escaped wild boar was on the marsh. If you wanted to try your dogs on them you'd need a dog that can cope with a 500 yard slip.

Unless they've got a litter of pups planned, out of 2 of the competition winners. Prices can be pushed up and mediocre dogs easily sold. There's always an angle.

http://www.radicalrubber.co.uk/ Try here, there are also UK manufacturers. Longevity is also better with natural latex.

The chopping boards that you can get in the catering suppliers and even cheaper in the Chinese supermarkets are HDPE. It may speed things up for you. I've never made one using a mould and heat, I just cut frames out of them.

That's a quality job. There's nothing better than taking some game with a catty that you made yourself. It does look like pine. Just be careful, pine has a tendency to split along the grain, even when it is thick and only under light load. Although it's not particularly strong you'll still know all about it when a broken fork tip gets smacked into your face.

There's loads of UK suppliers and manufacturers of latex sheeting. Google them. Latex has softer shooting characteristics compared to TBG.

Right........ So unless it happens in the uk, we can't comment? Dogs getting skinned alive in Russia...... Who cares, we don't understand. Chinese frying fish alive and eating them still alive on the table...... Seal cubs getting battered, batter in boys. All of these things could be classes as culture, tradition. I couldn't care if folk think fox hunting is cruel, I can debate the issue, can they? Hahahahahaha!!!!!! I had a mental image of you rolling up your sleeves, adjusting your petticoat and leaning towards the computer screen as you started to type!! You big fanny!!!!!! You ca

I think the comparison between fox hunting and bull fighting is a fair one if you ask yourself this question. How would you feel if there were members of a Spanish/Portuguese bullfighting forum discussing foxhunting and calling it barbaric, even though the majority of them had never seen it and those that had didn't understand it? I am not going to sit in my house in the UK and try and dictate what goes on in another country or criticise someones traditions. Maybe those of us that follow and support fox hunts and who love the ceremony and tradition associated with it are cut from the s

Gsd X Greyhound / The Search Is Long And Hard
kranky replied to micckey's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
If you're breeding for yourself, just choose your pup and cull the rest. These aren't the best dogs for pet homes. I've seen this breeding work, back in the day, they're quicker than they look and took all quarry. Why aren't there more GSD x's about nowadays? I don't know. Why are there so many bull x's about nowadays? I don't know. The problem is, popularity of certain breeds isn't dictated by experienced dog men with 1st hand experience of a breed, it's dictated by demand. The demand is created by peoples perceptions. Go into any pub and mention motorcross bikes and they'll be -
You should advertise him on here as "100% proven worker from working lines, no faults" and sell him for £200.

I've got a top secret lurcher pup coming, all my time will be dedicated to that I'm afraid. And after my 15 minute dog walk, which resulted in 5 cats being chased, 2 which were treed, I'm in no need of another terrier. Those rossettes were the fantasy type. We went spearfishing at first light and then I went home to drink wine all day. We never made the show!!!
-
Why don't you give him a "forever" home? You ain't much use to the rescue centre if you can't look after one little terrier!

When Your Dogos Are Shit, Send In The Patterdale!!
kranky replied to j1985's topic in Hunting Video Clips
Look around the globe, there's a lot of cruelty going on that makes this pale into insignificance. Animals are regularly skinned whilst alive for the fur and meat trade in certain countries, including dogs and cats. If you hunt with dogs, then climb down off of your high horses, because it's a long way to fall! As for breaking rabbits legs before letting a dog chase them, that's a piece of fantasy from the Daily Mail or LACS. -
The East End is nothing like that. In reality 90% of the people are Indian and everyone's got a washing machine.

Nice work.

No problem mate.

There's a few of my kills on the pages following that one.

There's no character assasination from me, i can assure you. I'm unaware of the problems that you had and if it was detrimental to your business, family or reputation, then I'd have had no part of it. I may call someone an idiot or worse, as a bit of forum banter but I'm not out to ruin anyone's life. I'm sure you did teach him to make nets, much as I gave him his frst catapult and showed him how effective they are. His catapult business started after that. My reference to our meeting was more to reiterate that I'm not a moron or someone who's been at this hunting lark for 5 minutes

Why would you urge caution? A thinly veiled online threat? Or a misuse of power in an attempt to prove that you're correct. You adopted much the same attitude over at JS as you do here, although you had no moderator status over there. In real life you aren't so vocal and don't say much or challenge people. Maybe your keyboard acts as some form of security. I met you in Justin's kitchen, some years ago, after you'd given me the benefit of your pious attitude in a forum thread. You seemed humble and juxtaposed to your online persona. You didn't urge me to be cautious then................

Yep I don't want to keep feeding the troll and wasting time on posts you clearly are going to ignore anyway. As Matt has said, you make your own choices. At the end of the day, if you kill a non feral cat and someone reports you, it will be you left to justify your actions and it will be you facing prison not me. Prison? Really? Stop being silly.
-
I really shouldn't indulge you but... Here's an actual proseuction for killing a domestic cat on a farm with a single humane shot: http://www.newsandstar.co.uk/news/teen-could-be-jailed-for-shooting-cat-1.77764?referrerPath=home/2.1962 The guy claimed it was an accident through mistaken identity. Doesn't say the final outcome but he was found guilty of Criminal Damage and the case adjorned whilst the Courts considered whether or not to sentance him to prison. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How about you provide the laws that you quoted prior to my post? You started to produce facts about law without any evidence, first. I am prepared to stand up in front of a magistrate and tell them that I killed a cat that was on my property. It would never be heard before a magistrate and would never get to court. Provide evidence of one case where it has happened. Please don't come on here giving such poor advice because your hand hovers over the delete or ban button and you believe you have the right to be sanctimonious and no one should question you. Maybe you should report me
