More versatile? What can a 29" dog do that a 25" dog can't do, unless it weighs 100lbs? Does it ever get into top gear? If so, I suggest that the lurchers it makes a mockery of, turning wise, must be shite? Cheers, D. It can run a lot faster! All this talk of big dogs needing big fields to wind up to top speed and not being able to turn is nonsense. My dog is 30" TTS and is at top speed in 5 strides. That top speed is significantly more than a 25" dog can achieve.

Feck what you left behind, you carried your dog back, that's good enough for me.

South London and moving further towards the coast in an act of reverse gentrification.

I don't doubt what you say but from my limited experience and story writing he is an exception to the rule. I've seen a few dogs like him over the years. There's probably plenty more like him that have never had the chance to shine because their owners have held them back. It's far better to get out and try stuff yourself than to believe what you read on the internet.

Ok, you said recover, but those that have seen my dog run will tell you that he turns like he's on rails and even after tripping arse over elbow can still get up and get back into the chase and catch the bunny. He's 30"TTS. He's a proper dog and doesn't conform to people's,unjustified, preconceptions and the stories written by those who know nothing, other than how to write a good story.

Bigger than rabbits. Your comments about turning circles of buses and lacking the pace to get back on terms aren't the comments of someone who's seen proper big dogs run.
-
They need the turning circle of a bus, take to long to recover and get back on terms after a missed strike or a tumble but they can run quicker across a high crop field ffs Ah, I see now, you've read a couple of books and never managed to get out pre ban or chase bigger stuff.
-
Proper dogs 30" +!!!! Lol!!
-
Mostly in the summer they are your not even going to see a course in long crops that's what it WAS all about for me the adrenalin off watching the twists the turns the strike and connection You should've had a bigger dog and ran bigger quarry.
-
Why would you want to run deer in high crops during the summer? High crops aren't only in the summer.
-
I wouldn't trust the age or breed make up that rescue centres provide you with.

She's just a leggy Russell, parson type. Her heads a bit bully and her manner is a bit manic! The jury's out as to whether there's bull or black dog in her breeding somewhere. She can get down any tube and still give a lot of things a run for their money above ground.

We'll have to get out soon! How's his shoulder now?
-
I'm thinking about 27" to 28" TTS but maybe more. I only expected the sire to make that size and he's 30". This is him at 12 months. I'm trying to find a more recent one.

I bet even David Bailey couldn't get a decent photo of a puppy!! My new pup Deerhound x Greyhound. Son of my dog. 9 weeks old.

I'd be very careful with Saluki blood. If you're new to it, then you're learning too. A Saluki can test even the best and any mistakes that you make will be magnified.
-
Get a deerhound x and all your worries will be over.
-
Have you ever used it? I don't think anyone will be worried about the strength of Polymorph. Get yourself some and try it. You'll be singing a different tune when you've got some experience of it. It's cheap, strong, easy to work with and takes less preparation than HDPE.

Which seal did you recently change? -
Jesus!!!! Cheers Jerry. You've helped prove my point about this ridiculous cross. Crossing anything that doesn't do it is ridiculous if you ask me. I mean I get crossing a lamping dog and a coursing dog together cuz that makes sense or a ferreting dog and a coursing dog. That all makes sense to me but crossing a friggin shit eatin whippet with a shit eatin deerhound is retarded. Now if somebody wanted to take a good rabbit dog and a good deer dog together I'm all for it. Most these purebreds that are being bred are nothing but show stock. Them racing whippets are awesome though bu

As form 101 is used to apply for Section 1 firearms it is a little pointless and unnecessary to write section one 12 bore, as is detailing self loading when the form clearly states action type is not required. All one needs to apply for is a 12 bore shotgun. You put high capacity shotgun and you also state whether a pump or a semi auto. Your ticket will say semi or pump. You are obviously not familiar with the application form 101. Neither Action type or magazine capacity is required and for this reason there is no place on the form to supply such information. Al
