    I have been very keen to get into the terriers for a few years now so 8 months ago I got hold of the local hunt terrier man and got myself a lovely little Russell cross dog. His breeding was mainly Russell but the line was crossed out to a black dog 4 generations previously and he was almost completely black. He was coming on lovely and had finished his growing, he was tiny in the chest, long in the leg and very strong willed but a proper gentleman of a terrier (always politely introduced himself before trying to shag the life out of any bitch in sight!!).     Has anyonehad experience of breeding from terriers with an underbite I have a top bitch with an underbite who I would consider breeding from but the underbite has caused her discomfort in the past but hasn't been a problem while working would it pass n to the pups?

    With some dogs it's just in them pretty much from birth others you have to be patient with! my pup is hard to hold back but others my dad has owned have been pets until a few years old much to his disappointment! but thos little black dogs usually have it in them just find a way to let him see a fox so he knows what that smell is and he will go and he will love it when he does but don't force him let him make his own way and be very patient

    You have got to let him see what its all about as a spectator let an experienced dog show him what he is missing when he realizes there is fun to be had you will have trouble stopping him
