  1. Hi mate had her from pup was planing to work her when I got her but things in my life got busy so got basic training dune but never had time to get her out on the lamp but life has carmbed down now just hopping she takes to it

  11. flicking is a last resort and i have done this with one of mine 2 or 3 times and has coursed no harm to her nose I prefer scrufing or his but all ferrets are diffrent so what works for one wont work for others

  13. Fair enough, I just thought the thing about showing him what he missed out on was quite funny....reminded me a bit of supernanny!! They need to get used to their owner, it's as simply as that. Flicking noses, shouting etc. is just going to scare the ferret. Forgot to mention in my last post, I don't agree with wearing gloves to handle them either....if you're too scared to hold them with your bare hands you shouldn't own a ferret, and when wearing gloves they're not going to get used to your scent.   14. i had the same with my too one was rely good and the other a [BANNED TEXT] biter just lots of handling if you are jumpy with her can make it worse so gloves is a good one and malt paste on your knuckle and let her lick it if she go's to bite his at her or a little flick on the nose and patience

  18. yea i would be after a small racey dog for short fast runs when ferreting and some brains from the gsd in the mix. me and my dad are going to work this pup to just some ideas for the future to put whippet to her thanks malc
  19. i was thinking whippet as i do more ferreting than lamping so thort whippet may be better or would thay end up small and heavy pups

  21. i would put the pregnant jill by herself as if she doesn't fell safe/happy she may kill here own kits and put her with the other jill when kits are about 8weeks
