    we don't have the ground or hares back here to do 5s on a regular basis unfortunately, but ye definitely need the breeding in them, true preban peter, the good 1s show it from day 1 and continue too show it I think.     first I think its down to proven line s and a dog or bitch should show the can do it in first season and injury free should get better and better a lot of dogs can take 3 / 3 but not all can take 5/5 and so on and dog or bitch that can take 5 s on regulary is top dog ect

    mabe but that cross dident make the grade in uk long term mabe back in ireland the where good but what i am saying is saluki xx are and other crossies are just as good around hedges when the are trained in ireland it doesent take terrier to make them any better

    i have read it on here a few times lads saying irish terrier blood makes good dogs around hedges well i have seen saluki x powering true hedges etc with no terrier in them its down to the land you run your dogs irish bred dogs that run s on grass fields small or big use a faster gear i seen same dogs run in uk use a slower gear yet up a gear when get close to hedges dogs will adape to what ever land you run them
