    Get a fur skin dummy,put her on the lead and take her for a walk.Get her to carry the dummy and exchange for food.Do this about 4 times and then put the dummy in your pocket.Build on your bond,go back to basics and don;t rush onto the next thing untill this has been thougherly taught.

    I;ve seen some 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington,and i think they are a lot easier to train.I have never seen one bog off and they make great rabbiting dogs

    Sounds as if every time he comes to you,you grab at him.It makes them very hand shy.You need to put a harness on him,get a gun dog whistle and every time you pip it ,give him a treat.Get this 100 percent indoors,in the garden and then out side.Do not grab him.Clip the lead to the harness and make a fuss of him.If you shouted and screamed at me i would,nt come anywhere near you.

    You could try letting the pup off first and give it a good run with a ball,and when its calm then let the adult off.You could let them off seperatley for a few weeks.And then try them off together again.It,s a tricky one,but needs to be sorted

    I have a 5/8 3/8 collie/grey bitch and she is bomb proof.Sounds just like Ziggy and also a doddle to train.Great with other dogs and kids.I walked her yesterday and 4 horses were racing about in the wind.She just trotted along the fence,no lead on and took no notice.I don;t find her nervous or sensitive.

    i would take it to the vets and get it scanned for a chip.Not having a name is a bit strange to me.

    At 5 months you pup will be teething.Just let it be a pup for the next month untill it;s teeth are properly through.It can be quite painful and can upset there stomachs.Start of with gentle tug games untill he/she is pushing the toy into your hand,and then teach the release command.You will soon have a retrieving crazed pup again.
