  1. Magyar - thanks! She is 3/4 whippet 1/4 Kelpie. shell
  2. Sorry to hear about your loss fireman. Some dogs can cope with 3 legs, but with something like these they'd go mad wouldn't they. Wild rover - she is amazingly wick and agile, can turn mid flight without hardly losing speed. She's built like a heavy boned whippet, got the build to cope with the land we work. She's getting easier to live with now as well, which makes a difference!!! Shell
  3. Hiya Wild rover, Yeah she looks to be racier, bet you're over the moon with her aren't you? Kes is settling down now, piccies were taken the other month, when she was 11 months. She's coming on really work wise. She's very stubborn sometimes, head strong. But very intelligent and bright. Feet are fantastic! Ears are pretty impressive too! Shell
  4. She looks great! Seems to have changed shape a bit from last seasons photos! Glad she's doing well for you! Shell
  5. What a bonny pup! Good luck with her! Shell
  6. Whatever he is... he's a bonny looking lad! shell
  7. Sounds just like a keplie cross! Always on the go, very bright. Sounds about right for its age, as they can take a bit longer to steady up! Love your decription as being "busy" and "manic"! Sounds right!!! Hints and tips... I'd be grateful of any too! Stimulation and perserverance. 15 months is still only 'young' for a kelpie cross. Channel all that positive energy in a positive way! Shell
  8. What a bonny pup! Good luck with her! Shell
  9. Yep thats it, Galastop. Really good stuff! Shell
  10. I tell you what Keeps... they'll be absolutely stunning pups out of them two! The pups looks lovely and healthy! Well done mum! Shell (edited cos I didn't read the whole post lol)
  11. Bonny pup! Good to see the kids so keen! Nice pictures! Shell
  12. Sorry to hear this Tom... RIP Sophie. It's getting on for a year since I lost my best mate Atol... Still miss her like mad now. You'll never forget her, plenty of memories to keep her alive inside your heart. All the best, Shell x
  13. You can get some stuff from the vets called Galastop... dries the milk up and if they are feeling knocked about with it (gone off their food etc) then it perks them up as well. shell
  14. If they look to be growing all right then I'd leave them. I've got 2 lurchers at the mo both with dew claws and they never bother them. My old lurcher had hers removed when she was a pup. One wasn't taken off properly and grew at a funny angle and caused her loads of bother all her life. shell
  15. We bought a Rat Attack a couple of weeks ago. Opened the box, followed the instructions to get it going ect. Worked for all of 5 minutes, producing lots of smoke. Then it stopped working. Followed the instructions for unblocking it, cleaning it etc. Still wouldn't work. Tried all sorts and it just would not work again. Took pump apart and cleaned it, cleaned the coil... nothing. So next morning Malc was back on the phone to Arthur Carters asking to send it back. They were really helpful and arranged for their courier to come and collect it and they gave us a full refund. We'll be s
  16. Hubby says... It's good, give it 8 out of 10. Bit far fetched in places! Enjoyed it a lot though! I say... Spoke to the bloke himself (Didriksen) a month or so ago and had the most pleasant conversation with him. Lovely bloke. Went out of his way to help me out. Personally, haven't got round to reading his books yet though lol!!! shell
  17. Kyle86 - they are very quiet compared to the strimmer smoker ... I wonder if that makes a difference as theres not as much vibration?
  18. We bought one recently and it was back in the post to them the following day. Luckily we got a full, no quibble refund from them. We set it up as per the instructions. It produced smoke for all of 5 minutes then got blocked. Tried unblocking it, cleaned it, cleaned the pump, the coil etc, spent hours arsing about with it. Just could not get it to work again. Got on the phone to Arthur Carters the next day and they were really good about it. Offered us another in exchange, but we we were well put off. So they got their couriers to come and collect it. I don't doubt for a minute that th
  19. It's grass rash. My lot all get it at some point. The whippet x kelpie has had it quite bad this summer. And the borders that haven't got much hair under their bellies get it too. Get some Aloe Vera moisturiser (from any where - Superdrug, Savers, Bodycare etc etc - they all sell it . It's about 99p a tub). If you rub that over the rash it pretty goes by the next morning. Its nothing to worry about really. Shell
  20. Kate, We use Landywoods and they charge 32p a lb for beef tripe (lamb tripe is 28p) and chicken is 34p a lb. shell
  21. Good to see they are all doing so well! Tia looks really content with them! You'll be suprised at how quick the little one catches up with the others! All the best, Shell
  22. cytacon - I think we gave a 5ml tsp full to a lurcher pup... so I'd maybe give a big lurcher a tablespoon a day.
