  1. i know... was just thinking that myself.
  2. Blimey... that's awful. Where's the original report from? Was going to cross post myself. shell
  3. Thanks for the reply. We'll be going to the show next year anyway so will just take it back with us. Not involved with the hounds now nope...left kennels couple of yrs back and try to stay out of the way now!
  4. It was a good little show...enjoyed it! Judges seemed to judge the dogs rather than the people which was great to see! Does any one know if the trophies from the Championships have to go back next year? I presume they do...just want to check for sure. Shell
  5. Hiya guys, We've got 3 jills in season and were wondering if anyone had a vasectomised hob they'd be prepared to lend us to bring them out of season? We're Skipton / Bradford way. Many thanks, Shell
  6. Quick update - finally found one. Lad at Halfords tried the Maxi Cosi Tobi, as recommended by Neal, in and it fitted perfectly. Didn't buy it there and then though, will shop around on the net and get one cheaper than £180 I think!!! Thanks again guys, Shell
  7. Thanks for that Neal - the Maxi Cosi Tobi was one the lad at Halfords suggested trying, but they didn't have one in stock to test in the car when I went down. Definately one to look into then! My daughter was the opposite to your son, in that she was ready to move into the next stage by about 7 months!!! I've got a couple of options to look into now, so thanks guys for all your help! Shell
  8. Drives you mad doesn't it Jenna!!! Other people have recommended the Recaro seats, so I'll definately look into having one tested in the car. Be next week before I get chance now though. Thanks for your advise! Shell
  9. I'll have a look into that one thanks Jenna! We had a really good car seat/baby stuff/pram shop in town but it's just been taken over by new people who know nothing. I went down this morning and they had 3 car seats in the entire shop and couldn't give me any advise. The spotty 17 year old in Halfords was more use!!! Thanks again, shell
  10. That would be greatly appreciated Neal! Thanks! I was hoping to get one for 0 - 4 for the Nav, but its looking like I'm going to have to get 2 different ones, one for each stage. I've got a Graco travel system one with a seperate base that will do to 9 months, and I'm reasonably happy with the way that fits. It's just just the next stage up then that's the problem now. Thanks guys, Shell
  11. Hiya guys, I know it's probably a bit of a long shot, but thought it would be worth an ask... With having the baby due soon, I've started looking for a car seat that is compatible with the Navara. I am getting nowhere! Everything we try isn't compatible, moves too much or has buckle crunch. Part of the problem is that the seat beat 'stems' are quite long, so most baby seats get buckle crunch. I've even been onto Nissan asking if they can shorten the stems!!! Has anyone any ideas or experience of Navaras and baby seats? Any suggestions on particular seats to try. I've just been

    daddy again

Awww congratulations! Hope mum and Annie are both doing well! Shell
  14. Congratulations! He is absolutely gorgeous! Sounds like you had a hellish time with labour, but glad to hear all is well with you both now. I'm 21 weeks gone with my second... got a 4 yr old little girl and we found out this week this ones a little boy, so we're over the moon! Shell
  15. Try Landywoods... I know they go up as far as Kirby Lonsdale area... so might go further up the country too.
  16. Bl**dy hell Mally... you both are very very lucky. As for saying you were stupid for going in for the pup... I bet most of us would have done exactly the same in the circumstances. As for that woman... stupid cow calling a pup across a frozen canal. Shell
  17. Fireman - what a shame about your pup. She'd turned into a cracker! A hell of a decision to have to make, we had a pup at 11 months shatter her back leg, and decided to have her pts. It was the right thing to do though. Like wild rover says, chin up... your time will come for another new addition. All the best, shell

Cheers TC - the money has been sent. Look forward to getting them - no need to shop for Malcs Xmas present now lol Thanks again, shell
  19. mushroom - that's scary! I used to give my little one (now 4 yrs) Infacol all the time as she always struggled to get her wind up. Don't know as I'd use it now (should I ever need to again) having read that though. Shell
  20. Was on the news earlier that they'd found a body, couldn't say if it was the pc though. It's really devastating for all invovled... I hope they are able to get their homes and businesses back up and running soon. Shell
  21. The right home will come up for Titch soon enough... like you say, it's best off keeping hold of him rather than letting him go to some idiot just wanting a Chav dog. Hope you get him sorted soon Shell
  22. They are stunning! Well turned out pups - a credit to you! Glad you managed to get them good homes sorted! Shell
  23. Vitamin C tablets are good for urine infections. You can get tablets from health food shops or Boots. They are great for acidifying the urine, and if there are crystals present vitamin C actually dissolves them. Shell
