The two I have now are alright until it comes to food time and the eldest bounces of each side of its pen like a demented zoo animal whilst making a racket. The last lurcher I had would have 5 or 6 shits on a normal round the blocks walk and I'm sure the twat did it on purpose especially when you run out of bags and he squeezed a sloppy spoon full out. -

I would be more tempted to own a springer cross than a Brittany but it could have been down to her rearing causing her to be scatty. I used her for a bit of ferreting, lamping and retrieving birds at night. She was an absolute nightmare to live with though.

Didn't chipper have one off Jeff and he rated it or was it someone else? I've only heard of a few over the years on here but the people who had them were happy with their working ability. -
She did but she was impossible to live with. She was semi feral when I got her as an unsocialised pup which I don't think helped. She retrieved 2 woodies at once one night , dropped my mate his one then brought me mine.

I'm sure the fuckers are breeding them to sell over here now, costs about a fiver to raise a litter of the feral feckers on scraps and shite and then give the farmer 20 quid a piece and sell em over here for 500 quid. The adults that have lived on the streets are the ones you see got out and can't be caught all over Facebook. One of her family got one and it's a big horrible b*****d that my kids aren't going anywhere near.

I doubt it's landowners and keepers watching the forums they don't need to when it'll be fellow dog lads running to them with info. -
I haven't got a runner nowadays and although I'd love another there is absolutely no point replacing it to live a life of boredom with nothing to run. There has never been millions of rabbits locally but there was enough to keep a dog interested but not any more. There's not enough other quarry either probably from the predators and rifling twats moving on with the absence of rabbits.
