Carbolic soap and diatomaceous earth are meant to do the same thing too mate but I found they didn't work. Since using frontline I've had my best seasons for being relatively mite free.
If I was in that position I wouldn't bring it up nor would I want to subject the kid to a life in care. Imagine how that kid would feel too being the product of a rape and knowing some dirty pervert is responsible for 50 percent of its dna.

I think macacco is a foreign word for monkey in general rather than a macaque as we know them, my Portuguese mate called all monkeys that anyway.
Personally I only sell/gift birds at the end of the moult I'm not too interested in the show side of things. Only native birds have to be rung to be able to sell them you can keep unrung captive bred birds but personally I wouldn't want to as its guilty till proven innocent isn't it.
Temperature can't change the colour during incubation, it can affect gender in some species though.
I think a lot of crows with white wings can be due to stress or malnourishment in young crows and can moult out normal next season.
If it was coccidiosis that did your birds it probably wasn't the cages, all birds carry it apparently but in times if stress like their first moult it can flare up.
I bought some from mercasystems in Spain no problem last year but I don't know what it's like now. Do you know any gamekeepers that rear their own poults?
