Can't get my pup to retreave anything just had him a week, he 19 weeks old,hr runs after everything I throw but won't pick it up and runs straight back to me. Any ideas ?

Iv just made my done my a skin for my dummy, pinned it out on a ply board and put a load of salt on it. Sorted cheers lads.

I got a18 week old pup on Sunday and it had been bit on the head the night before by a dog it was shareing the back of a carwith whilst traveling to a show, now iv got him to mine one of his ears is not pricking up like the other one.any ideas?
