Only ever owned one she was a good worker and one hell of an escape artist, But she died at 4 years old from copper toxicosis. This as i have been told and read about was because of her being beddy/whippet x beddy/whippet the copper gene was reinstated, Since then 1988 i have only had first crosses. -
I Have worked with a couple in the past (being from lancs) they make excellent rat and bush dogs fearless although a bit big for fox, But the only ones i see now adays are kc reg non hunters. with the long faces the older working bred had much shorter muzzles and a more muscular body.

I have always said beddys are a good judge of character, Hope you read the riot act to the dozy fekkers for trying to take the piss out of a beddy , One of my old beddys was never keen on my son and his mates as they teased her two ending up with scars for their troubles.

I know its a long shot but i had a dog a few years ago that bit her pads until they bled we found out in the end it was a carpet deoderiser we where using so we do not put anything on the carpet anymore now our house stinks but the dogs don't itch :11:

Dave R replied to Dave R's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
Got A message from one of the committee of my local angling club, He said they will not let any anglers or hunters on once they know you are there they ban your ip address the site apparently is run by the one called Journaux you can get a lot of info about the members as (most are stupid enough to give their real name and area they live) before they evict you The One called journaux apparently phoned our local club threatening civil action if any of our members say anything about them online -

the item as now been removed from their website as me putting it on other sites was considered by them as Quote liableous and slanderous. They have made my local fishing club remove it from their site -
While i believe revenge is sweet it need not always take the violent route, That could lead to serious problems for the young lad later on. when i was an apprentice plumber i was bullied rotten by a so called work mate not violently but in other ways. years later i met him and his wife and family at a local garden centre and he acknowledged me with the nickname he used for me when i was in my teens (not a very nice name ) I walked up to his wife and proceeded to tell her what i thought of her husband and told her some of the things he and others used to do to me for a laugh he could not st

Fouling in the house was one thing my old man would not tolerate so although i was only a nipper at the time he had the dog i would say it was definatly house trained. In the area where i live rabbits are not in large numbers so hunting rabbit from the end of march to the end of september used to be frowned upon, Meaning it was usualy wet and cold when he was bushing for rabbits so having a dog that disliked the cold was a bit of an handicap i would think. I owned a very slight whippet years ago who would take on allcomers would rat like any terrier and had a great nose the only fault was i

My dad had one about 40 year ago it was i bit larger than they are these days. he used it for bushing rabbit and rat it must have worked ok as dad would not keep a dog for long if it did not work to his expectations. I seem to remember the only thing he was'nt happy about was its dislike of being cold. I seem to remember it was stolen from the garden and my dad blamed travelers (pikeys) that had been on our estate the day before. Some ferrets went at the same time.

nice to think our antis and carrot munchers (or dare i say muslims) could be waving their hair or brushing their teeth with a pigs arshole or even their beloved pet. That aside my son left school to work in slaughter and i was quite suprised who bought the bones skins and offal plus the rejected meat. It as been no secret in this country some even goes into our food through the back door. Thats why i have my dogs cremated and bury other pets myself.

Is this the kennel club that advocates breeding deformaties into our best friends that causes pain and suffering through out their lives in the name of profit and vanity. HIPPOCRITES.

Hi hairyface One of my bitches started doing it occasionaly at about 8 year old but got worse as time went on, I thought the same as you that she was just a lazy bugger who did not like the rain. After a while i mentioned it to the vet she said it is quite commen in bitches for leakage to occur as they get older especialy when asleep but also dogs can suffer from it, it is just the muscle around the bladder gets weaker with age. It was treated with drops in her food i cannot remember what it was but is a very cheap treatment. Better to have him checked incase there is a underlying cause for

While it is in my opinion correct to blame bunny huggers and this goverment for the ban lets not forget the complacancy within our own ranks, I got called a mug for joining the countryside alliance way before the ban many times from terrier and lurcher lads in our area. I also was told on many occasions to stop mithering about a future ban as it would never happen also from these same people. I am now getting the same responce off the local angling fraternity funny old world aint it. Why does the population in our country bury our heads in the sand hoping threats to our way of life will go

How's Dan doing Dave.... ? Any more pics of him.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He's doing rat squirrel etc but not had him to red yet as i have not been able to get out much since i got him due to business and illness, Plus there are not many fox in this area except the one that lives across the road in a neighbours garden which as nearly cost me my front room windows on a couple of occasions walking right past on the bloody street in the early afternoon and letting my lurcher meg see it. Dan as stayed small still spannable hes a bit nervous around strangers but a little t--t w
