    Ive been breeding English Springers for 23 yrs, the two acros the middle of the photo look like theyre well bred, the dog at the back looks like a springer x setter and the bitch sitting at the front looks more like a sprocker than a springer i wouldnt be proud to own those 2, just my opinion P Smith What if the two you don't like were the best workers?     Handful each and a few for luck should keep them going until you let them out Also don't forget the grit and shell (usually already mixed in with the grit if shop bought hen grit)

    Had light Sussex not bad layers also had Marrans they were also good layers and their eggs are a nice dark brown. The Hisex browns will give the best egg production, why not get a mixture of all the above? I'm just starting a new chicken run after not having them for 8 years can't wait

    Of course its bloody possible, what a stupid question Working dogs are trained dogs. I would more trust a ferreting dog than a fat pet pooch.

    Surprising that you say Tazi and Saluki have no chance on your hare. In the Youtube video HUNTER FROM RUSSIA posted your fields look very big, I would have thought this would have suited these dogs.

    Very interesting. You would find that if you did import a UK/Irish dog it may well be faster but not as strong as your dogs. Do you have any pictures of your dogs? до свидания

    You can learn all about that on here I only tell one's own the point of view. Idea of cross between breeds is not new. If it is done by scientific person, it is normal.     What was the total cost of the operation I am going to get my jills jabbbed this year and pick up a hob from my ferreting partner he is breeding his jill, I plan to get the hob vasectomised. So I wont have to jab my jills in future. £60 The vet said they hardly make any money from it as its a fiddly and time consuming job.

    had my hob vasectomised on Monday, the vet said expect some swelling, but they've doubled in size. Took him back today and vet said it's ok but to be on the safe side gave him antibiotics. Any one else had this and if so how long did the swelling take to go down? I know me and my next door neighbour both had the snip the same week, I was back to work the next day, his swelled up so bad he couldn't walk

    lost it after the Dunblane shooting, had shooting and ferreting along with a mate, wasn't worried about the gun but wouldn't ferret without a dog. I was a student at stirling (Ecology) and used to run my dogs there but as you say you have to be away early, not all the students share the passion As for other people ferreting it, I know many people who do but none have permission

    B&Q etc do a radiator 'cover' paint You paint or spray the radiator with normal paint then paint over using the radiator paint, its clear and heat resistant. I used it on our old radiators 5 years ago and they have not chipped.
