  1. Christ hes off again about his 5 mins he had a job helping a game keeper yawn fu''@ing Yawn
  2. no it didn't I was there when he told you, we were coming out of a field and you hadnt even heard of Bill before Bob told you about him oh and while were on the subject there are still folk in cumbria charging £1 A mole what makes you £5 better than them ?
  3. lol penny washers and Bob Merrin spring to mind just wanted to see if you would give the man credit
  4. perthshire how do you get the groove in the plastic gas pipe ones ? and who showed you ?
  5. i cant give you dimensions as i cant see the anchor your using The dimension you need is the size of the hole down the middle of the anchor, the anchor slides over the pipe you need to make if you know what i mean,so when when you knock the driver and the anchor in the ground and then pull out the driver the anchor stays in the ground
  6. just interested why would you not buy from Ian woods?
  7. if you have the anchors just get two pipes one the same as the earth anchor was made out of and the other one goes inside that one and welded on, make sure the top tee bar is made of solid steel cause when you knock them in you will flatten the top and eventually it will break off, of course depends how much you use it but if your looking for earth anchors you must be snaring a fair few foxes anyway, you will need about 18-20 inches of cable attached to the anchor so make sure your bar is longer than that or you wont get them in far enough in the ground, Where do you get your snares from? caus
  8. lets face it though any doughnut can catch a urban fox literally any old doughnut you can catch those things on rubbish lets face it you can feed them from your hand like Chris Packham and cubs like in the pic are even easier i mean two cages side by side and they still go in and with the cage bottom showing as well just out of interest how many rural foxes have you caught ? just had a thought leave the gun in the trap and they will shoot them selves as well
  9. Tom how long do you go out lamping for ? that would give you a idea how big a battery you need, no point in carrying loads of weight about if you dont need to
  10. I use a wam call to great affect Hands ok but you cant aim a rifle and pull the trigger if you have you have your hand in your gob. Dog men might be different you can slip a dog with one hand, that's my tuppence worth anyway
  11. do you really have all those guns and why not a 12 bore ? not criticising just wondering
  12. hi mate Wayne Walton does one not sure where you will get it though, there's a man not far from you if your from Cumbria hes the best mole catcher Ive ever seen, no fuss no messing about caught them by the bucket load, Bob Merrin haven't seen him in a long time hope hes still about, used to have a good gossip at the shows with him, got some really good ferrets off him many moons ago.
  13. thanks guys think your right ill apply for a variation and keep the 223 and add a 243
  14. Hi guys my firearms ticket is due for renewal soon and would like to get rid of my 223 and add a 243 mainly because i have been asked to do a bit of deer stalking and rather than have two rifles i would use the 243 for fox and deer, my question is how do i do this ? on renewal do i have to sell or store my 223 with a firearms dealer before i fill in my renewal as if they say yes to a 243 i wont be able to hold my 223 and as I will have sent my ticket back with my renewal i then wont be able to mark it as sold on my ticket ( i know this is very confusing) so any help would be very much appreci
