  15. I totally enjoyed Birr Gamefair last sun, great day out as always and very well organised. As usual theres begrudgers who cannot get true any show with out having to knock someone, theses fellas have really high opinions of themselves and feel no one else is worthy of a prize only them , ,id advise Mr John Deere and co to stick to The Child Handlers class as they usually give all entrants a prize and will certainly be on the same mental level as there competitors, the judges at Birr were top class,Ye just have a touch of the greened eyed monster,,Lady Poacher thanks albert for the great show
  16. is lisgoold the last show in cork or when is the next one ?
  17. well he came across to me as a very honest judge , checked dogs thoroughly and picked the best in show , I also saw him at tommy cullens show ( countrymans weekly) in Wicklow and he also did a great job , and got great reviews by all at the show , I even got a third lol
  18. great day out , very hot for the poor dogs , black lurcher won the show , Lakeland won terriers , pointer I think won gundogs and a foxhound . great turnout , lurcher judge as honest and fair as ive ever seen ( don't know name) terrier judge also good (tim Kirby) I think that's his name , place was packed , my terriers got nowt -boooh lol
  19. I was disappointed at the Roscrea Dog Show yesterday as all dogs and bitches were judged together.I was not very impressed by the lurcher judging it seemed a bit amature, the judge usually brings one dog at a time to center of ring, but in this case he walked along and looked at the dogs even though all competitors were nearly standing on top of one another. It seemed to me that this gentleman didnt know what he was meant to do!
  20. Hi,i would like to know if the whippets are being judged seperatley?or are dogs and bitches in the same ring? Also i am travelling from cork and hope show will be well signposted and i do not know this area!
  21. very sorry lads but that show was the worst ive been to yet , no effort ,no toilets !!!! , no trophies , dogs and bitchs judged in the same ring , no offence - i love my hunting and i love to support everyone involved but i can certainly say i will never be goin to that show again ..poor show !......portaloo????
