Some fellas on here talk utter drivel. Anyway If you want to go on a forum soley on asian gamefowl then the Hmong section on ganoi has lots of good real info and is the best part of that site about real gamefowl and much better than any texts from books or other things posted on the internet.

Good reply T, I can not send you a mail as it says your not accepting anymore messages, perhaps best if you mail me...

Looks like that egg seller from ebay called Mike in Wales has striked again.....

Bud I don't breed for commerical ventures, I breed for myself. Yes I keep three shamo strains. Somehow I doubt you know any genuine gamefowl men. But if you'd like an indepth run down of my German trip with the guys I tagged along with I can give you a detailed personal message with photos of the Turkish guys from Munich with there pure Hints and other guys from the far flung corners of Germany with their birds. You really like to hammer home that I put on here for 'drink money' a couple of taiwan poult pairs as I gave up my adult taiwans and sold them abroad, so maybe a genuine person could

Like a dogging site I was more interested in the action in the car park - it was a exercise meeting Turkish gamefowl contacts at a suitable venue. But you can keep your 20p prize cards and ribbons at your exhibitions. Like you say, you know what thought did. As for Yakido, I knew someone who had them from of Willy Coppins imported Japanese birds. They moved like they had three legs and bred just for the fancy like Ko-shamo for the last few decades in japan. I was told that a Brazilian guy imported Yakido in from Japan, he culled all his Yakido's as they was simply not game.

Yes the ring is a bit tight and will come off, but its not German.......I wonder what gave you that idea . And I know before you tell us all those things dont interest you. Still an educated was Germany as most Yakido breeders are based there these days like I see at Cologne. It must have a Dutch/Belgian held Passport then. And yes you answer your own question indeed Bud.

Looks a sharp speeder.
-
I wouldn't know such things Bud, you are surely much better informed than I.
-
By the ring looks like a German imported Yakido, ring looks a bit tight and needs cutting of. I'm surprised the more experienced asian keepers on here thought it was a shamo? It is no more of a gamecock than what a carlisle is to an oxford.
-
Joel, they are bred from my imports, don't have pics on my laptop yet. cocks are 8.8lb to around 9.5lb's fit and are very tall for the weights they make even by shamo standards. 5 month old pair going to a mate.

some of this years jap shamos @ 17 weeks and younger from imported F1 Argentinian bloodline.
-
Looks like one of Jos Vanbrabants birds, nice stag bud.
-
Nice birds all round Bud.
-
Forgive my ignorance but is this cock a Nunis Birchen?
-
UphillDoc, thanks for posting! I don't often read much on here but its a pleasure to see your hunting photos and experiences - You are a very lucky man.

Good birds all round Bud.

Bud, never been on the above forum and only been either this user name as on ganoi, OTG, PG or simply XXX on two gamefowl forums, funnily I've had two others thinking I'm either Shamo Joe/Monopoly Man/Mr Chu/Ben Dreyfuss from Ganoi or who ever he calls himself from Dartford in Kent these days. I am a professional guy and keep a few chcikens soley as a hobby, I am very discreet and don't associate myself with many people for obvious reasons. Maybe I'm confused with a multiple personality as I can write in plain english. .

Bud, Yes I said indeed 'hawking my birds on the internet', thing is when you breed over 230 birds I sell a good few by word of mouth even to Ireland, Malta and Belgium - And as a gesture I am willing to let 3 pairs of 11 week old taiwans go for luck money if a young lad wants to start up as I no longer keep taiwans with my birds now in Ireland and I asure you they aren't on any 'adverts' for sale - . I've not passed the terrier and fowl and feather sections on here yet so haven't seen an advert youv'e done. Please enlighten me on showing .Most of my birds are very good looking too,in fact too

Yes silly me, my geography isn't that good with the north east of England you must forgive me - how about Cleveland almost into N.Yorkshire region. Funnily you know the rest I mention is correct.

Hello 'Tuzo' from County Durham, last month, I visited Thailand. I saw 8 lots of gamefowl in different areas. I even talked to Thai cockers. You can ask me any question about the Thai gamecocks. As you can guess, I am joking. I know only a few words in Thai language and the level of English there is still poorer than mine with my rustic tongue. About the weights, or any number, I am yet sure to understand well as they also use the arabic numerals. So I am not ready to write any book about gamefowl in Thailand, neither in Brazil, nor in Japan. So my litrature ambitions are firmly stuck with se

Good luck with your young stags Jo, I guess you favour 7 to 9lb birds? 9 to 10lb strain stag at almost 21 weeks. Up and coming at just over a year old. 16 week old cuckoo splash stag from 11 to 12lb family, will make over 34 inches tall.
-
With all due respect you fully know what I mean by being honest Tuzo - have you been reading your Poultry Club of Great Britain standards book again? I don't think that imposing a single physical standard on a performance breed or type is productive in keeping the performance breeds alive. A performance breed whether it be chickens, dogs, or whatever is selected on winning individuals in it's ancestry. Winning birds, I think by imposing one umbrella physical standard for a breed would be detrimental in maintaining the reason for the breeds existence. In the case of gamefowl, it's performance.

First of all I do not like the idea of hawking my birds on the internet, but if anyone who wants to start up with some nice material, I've unrelated pairs of dark red/partridge taiwan poults I can let go now as I will no longer be keeping taiwans. They are from top quality stock and are the athletic shamo types. Please send me a PM if you are interested. Please no dealers or messers as these are genuine fowl for genuine people. Stag of this line @ 10 months and this is what you will get next year, the photo shows the qaulity. 11 week old pairs.

As I do not want any misunderstanding, I will add this. I am not against show breeders. Believe me. I just like honest and decent people. And it is not honest for people who keep Ko shamo and have dabbled with exhibition line shamos to give advice on how a bird selected for work should look.
