  7. opinions vary the fact is the saluki was originally bread from a desert fox as the arabs wanted something that could go hunting by itself through the day and need very little attention fox/cyote/wolf all the same species as far as im aware.
  8. thats all me dad will run sal/coll/grey for 30 years the arabs originally breed them off a fox true fact mate.
  9. dogs are naturally pack animals so the instinic to work off one and other will always be there originally been bread from the wolf with the exception of the saluki witch was breed from a fox hence the coat and independence.
  10. i was told a collie grey first cross will be to one paced
  11. 3/4 whippet 1/4 beddy sooty sam lines cracking dog lad waited four month before jumping in fancyed a collie/saluki/grey
  12. an older wiser man than me would totally agree with u totally and wont have anything else hes got a collie/saluki/whippet after a 15 year absense from the dogs and its a joy to watch work but me personally think u can sometimes have to much in the way of brains however i wouldnt touch a bull cross with a barge poll seen some good ones but not for me.
  13. three mths ago i went out and purchased my first running dog (lurcher) after around about four mths trying to take into account the merits of various strains and also trying to track down a decent pup to buy i settled on a bedlington whippet being nearly thirty yr old im no pup myself but no next to nothing about lurchers however my father used these majestic animals for over 30 years and the only cross he would ever use was a saluki/collie/grey as he sited this is a breed that can excell in all fields of the job please share your favourite breeds and merits of these breeds.

  16. we have a different law in scotland so even if cameron did overturn it it would still be against the law here the best thing for the repeal of the ban is for scotland to gain its independence and the north east to become its own seperate state because to be quiet honest being a proud englishman or proud birt has become a thing of the past and laws such as these only stand to show just how the uk as a whole caters to the minority. just my humble opinion.
