  1. I had a few yearling lamb butchered and they condemed the livers because of whiteish yellow spots on them and the vet who condemed them said it was caused by dog tape worm. They had none in the stomach or intestines but he said they had had them. Needless to say I kicked the dogs when I got home.
  2. But its a "British champion" I have phoned the lady and she said "when are you taking your pup" Ossie
  3. Not nice, I didn't like it. I think the music made it much worse.

  7. warning, scorned puppies usually get there own back and a Bull x will make short work or a Russel.
  8. I think if all is true you have enough to have the lads licence removed.
  9. For the dogs and ferrets I dont even chop off the feet, I used to but if I left the feet on the floor two of my bitches would eat them. So its out with the guts and thats about it. I quite often divy them up with an axe or machette. yc
  10. Supprised people are not taking the piss that you are being poached. Many bods on here think its alright to take game as they please and even post about it, some thing I have reported by PM and nothing was done not even a reply. I have had the occasional problem with poachers, I think its best to deal with the problems yourself and report it if it goes wrong. The police force are over worked and can be clueless about certain things.
  11. sam (oh ye i have a hw77 not a bad gun i think :] ) ?????????????????????
  12. I have water supplies all around me, lakes, springs etc and all of my dogs dont touch tap water. They may occasionally drink filtered water and they do have fresh meat daily. Try filtered water or fresh rain water, or see if he quenches his thirst at a water supply lake etc.
  13. good question. would the leaves be allright, chopped and mixed in. ive got plenty of it about.. I gave the left over leaves to the dogs(in their food) and they ate them all, two of my bitches ate them straight.
  14. Saw a House Martin on Thursday and herd a Cuckoo on Friday and posted about it. I actually saw a Cuckoo twice today and managed to point it out to someone both times, first time at a glance thought it was a Spar then realised, thirty seconds or so later it flew back across the valley and we got a good look. Does anyone else actually see Cuckoo's? because I rarely see them just here them.
  15. It grows in pretty much in the same places as Bluebells, it likes moisture and you eat the leaves as you would a salad. I have also tried it slightly cooked like spinage. My six year old loves it I had to stop him from eating it on the way back home.
  16. I have both. Just get yourself a decent air rifle and you have yourself an evening past time.
  17. Just picked and ate my first harvest of wild garlic this year. Does anyone else use this wonderfull gift from mother nature, my family and I love it but its a bit serious on the breath.
