  1. I think you will find it hard to get a Whippet that catches rabbits to wait for you to shoot one then go get it. Saying that my Non-ped Whippet retrieves, bag on when shooting stuff in tree's and in de sky but I wouldn't chance shooting stuff on de ground. And I would train it like any other dog, make it fun and lots of praise.

  3. I ordered a gun slip for my boys Garden gun, I gave the measurements on Friday, payed for my item yesterday afternoon and received it this morning. I must say for the money £15 posted, a made to measure gun slip with next day before 12 delivery, I am well impressed. So I thought I would put a little mention on here for anyone looking for such items. They have a ebay shop County Field Sports ltd.   6. My friends brother has a Whippet x Spaniel, catch rabbits? Can it feck! Great ferreting dog, not bad around cover but lacks speed. Wouldn't bother.

  9. Hello and welcome John, get a few vid's up in near future to show how good and accurate one can be with a catapult, showing how effective they can be as a hunting tool, especially for the non believers.
  10. Any decent terrier will do, Patterdale, Lakeland, Russell, Bedlington, Wheaton maybe. I would defo have one to work with my pack if the right one came along. I think they bring and leave a few attributes that I would and would not want in both breeds. Also appearence maybe important, so colour or coat maybe sway your choice.
