    I must agree, it will do nothing for the working capabilities of these hybrids. I think they are recognized by the right people now anyway. I have a Non-ped and am not wanting anyone to recognize her apart from people who know what she is. Nice thought though.

    run both my dogs together, when gear is a bit thin on the ground. Never had any problems, saying that I have seen a fair few accidents especially if the dogs don't normally run together.

    I stopped lamping last moon but last night was dark and windy And I just wanted to. Only took three rabbits in two fields. Crops are still short, plenty bunny and I could of lamped all night. But conservation is my middle name so I came back home. I love lamping

    GWP have a bounding gait, not so good in a running dog. Short haired pointers have a better gait and would make a better cross. Saying that, as someone said pick a Whippety one and it should be ok. They will all be good hunters but may not excel at anything you expect from them. I think they will look nice, so you shouldn't get stuck with any you don't want.
