    I stopped lamping last moon but last night was dark and windy And I just wanted to. Only took three rabbits in two fields. Crops are still short, plenty bunny and I could of lamped all night. But conservation is my middle name so I came back home. I love lamping

    GWP have a bounding gait, not so good in a running dog. Short haired pointers have a better gait and would make a better cross. Saying that, as someone said pick a Whippety one and it should be ok. They will all be good hunters but may not excel at anything you expect from them. I think they will look nice, so you shouldn't get stuck with any you don't want.

    Yes SS wait until it gets warm at least. Clippers is best, Wheatens shouldn't molt so stripping is difficult and maybe a bit painful, a bit like your back, sack and crack jobby

    I'm afraid there has always been idiots in the hunting game, or certainly during my experience. Arse holes that want to look big, they have always been there and always will. Maybe the law breaking thing has played some part and the internet has highlighted them. Just make sure you don't knock about with them.

    I think you will find it hard to get a Whippet that catches rabbits to wait for you to shoot one then go get it. Saying that my Non-ped Whippet retrieves, bag on when shooting stuff in tree's and in de sky but I wouldn't chance shooting stuff on de ground. And I would train it like any other dog, make it fun and lots of praise.

    I ordered a gun slip for my boys Garden gun, I gave the measurements on Friday, payed for my item yesterday afternoon and received it this morning. I must say for the money £15 posted, a made to measure gun slip with next day before 12 delivery, I am well impressed. So I thought I would put a little mention on here for anyone looking for such items. They have a ebay shop County Field Sports ltd. I got the link off someone from here but I can't find it County Field Sports ltd, great service, nice product and good prices.
