    Afternoon HK. I have had my vizsla now for two years and is a house pet as well as a working dog. I would add that the pet has probably more significance in his life than the working aspect as I mostly only rough shoot and beat with him. In the house he is an absolute pleasure although he can be a bit bothersome when he isn't the centre of attention. He loves human company and will sit with his head on my knee for ages. If I'm not careful he will sneak out of the kitchen and upstairs onto the bed early in the morning when I'm off for work which really annoys the missus as he snuggles very

    I bred a Wheaten bitch to a Staff about 14 or so years ago and only a couple of them ended up getting work, as they are quite specialized, the rest were absolute nightmares, strictly on the lead dogs.

    Just got back with my dogs, caught nowt, got the dogs a good wash as it's pissing down and my Grew ripped her head chasing a rabbit through the woods. Now back to work and I still ain't earned any money sat here talking bollox on dis machine. Edited to say; Johnny where do you get them :laugh:

    What are you saying, your not a good dog man? I work seven days a week, but I live where I work and there is enough gear around here to keep my dogs busy. So where do I fall in the working or nonworking dog men? But I fully understand what you mean, it's all about having the time.

    I have to agree, I have three freezers and even the rabbits smell of tripe if kept with tripe. I don't think it would do you any harm though.

    Yes, opiates very strong, it only works if you are naked from the waist down, but you must watch out for the Taliban

    Koi/Ghosties same ting. Koi lay thousands of eggs and only a few will turn out coloured, a lot are "ghosties", there are also dark/golden and when you get a good colour/patterned one, they are worth a pretty penny. And if there are any predators coloured ones don't last long.

    Got mine from a lad called Francis, dead now god rest his soul. She was about 18"tts 40lb, she could be trusted, trusted to bite anything with a pulse! Got it back at around two years old, lovely bitch around people it knew but totally aggressive towards anything else and I mean anything. I didn't need to be otherwise and I didn't have the needed time to socialize it. Absolutely top guard dog, always used to jump high for a bite and I mean head height, bit seven people in a day once, oops! It was always kept away from children and animals.
