  2. Lovely clear optics £30 + post Collection Cambridge area if pref
  3. I prefer sitting in a muddy ditch ready with my rifle but whiling away my time on here whilst waiting for nothing to show up. Bit like fishing with no bait sometimes
  4. Depends how far round travels before hits target? A mod only reduced muzzle blast not the sonic crack
  5. U prob mean copper, you might have prob with the threading of your mod/barrel meaning your mod is not 100% in line with your barrel causing the round to clip your mod this ricochet sound. Recommend trying without mod to see if you get the same sound
  6. I think it's fair to say only those in a position of factual knowledge and personal experience are qualified to respond to the op! Will an accurately placed .22lr humanely kill a fox out to 150 yards? Yes, that is objective fact The real question is can the shooter place said round accurately enough to facilitate a humane fox kill at 150 yards? The answer is subjective based upon quality of shooter, quality of gun, quality of sights, and quality of ammo! Would I, subjectively, take that shot past 75 yards? Not with my .22lr, no! Should a novice take that shot at all? No, go do some targ
  7. Check your rounds arnt clipping your mod
  8. Well said, Where in Cambs are u?
  9. Didn't bother mentioning cf as is new to FAC won't be likely to get cf
  10. Re-reading your post. I recommend more research before you put in for ticket otherwise FEO may deem you unsuitable if you don't know enough .22lr good on bunnies up to 100 yes if your good enough on holdover, in fact further but you need to know range exactly as drop is a lot that far out HMR flat out to 150 yds and ok for fixing too .22lr with subsonic ammo and a mod is near silent (u need to apply for mod too) HMR is noisy as supersonic
  11. Strictly .22lr is not suitable for foxing but up to 50yds between the eyes and dead is dead. An HMR would get signed off for foxes, I have it in Cambs

  17. I'm afraid he's right though, your laptop is little more than a doorstop compared to latest you can get for 300, so a ropey old baikal is prob all it's worth! No offence!

  19. And you can jog on....we were lied to and it was enough to tear this country apart. I'm all for everyone getting there fair crack of the whip mate but it's blatant lies, lies that every Yes voter knew was coming and every No voter hung on to in hope they would come good. Well it's f****d now....country split down the middle with f**k all to show for it. My head is held high being one of the 45. At 16 you can get married with parents permission so clearly not old enough to make life changing decisions which can impact others
  20. Perhaps I'm referring to mental capacity and maturity
  21. So much for the youngsters supporting NO, that I was so often told by the YES campaign. Looks like they proved to be the most avid YES supporters. Also the most gullible, irresponsible and stupid. They can't do so many things legally but to have responsibility for Scotland's future, what a joke!Under 18s shouldn't have had a vote but Salmond hoped to peal to their stupidity and succeeded. Fortunately the grown ups were more sensible
