  2. Just out of interest what does the vet do to pass your dog fit? I mean how does he examine it?He gives him a full examination weight temp ears teeth then a good feel of his joints and muscles he used to run greyhounds so he says and he's a good muscle man and always good advice on diets. He's a partner in the vets and likes blade cos he always seems to be coming into see him if he not working and gets a few rabbits every now and then

  6. Learning a dog when it's a puppy is 99.9% easer than at say 13 months simply because whenever they want to go after a rabbit it will and just keep going until it's done all the fields before you walk half way across one

Our blade has just gone two year old , he's by all means know hunter he's a loving house dog who's looked after the best we can always been insured and regular visits to see the vets for check ups , as my jack russell Molly and the five stinkers they all work with me and me alone at weekends , after his final jab I took him out all the time ' that's where your getting lost off fella !!! Out all the time with me walking meeting other dogs ,sheep cows horses you name we spent time around them and learned KNOT to mess around with them . Up until 7 months he learned the field craft I thought was W
  9. Or believe me he's not wasting his time catching more than he misses, not only can he run in straight line like most blade can actually turn and turn fast .to see him work would surprise the most hardcore running dog men as he already has
  10. Mr King in my reply I said I took him every where with me never said worked , even when with other dogs like that night he's good stays close always watching I can put the lamp any part of a field and he'll be there anticipating that there's something there , I'm not the type to drag a dog round a field forcing it to chase and miss cos it's petrified that it's going too get a kicking when it gets back , also I said creeping I'm sure if it was running he'd of left it which he did about ten mins beforehand, I'm sure my mate will add something if he feels like it , as that was the first time he'd

My view is when ever you fancy taking your dog out day or night take it !! It's valuable time in the dogs training to understand the simple commands your going to be using the day command is different to night my dog has been coming out since a couple of weeks after his final injections and between that time and upto the age of seven month he learned what he needed to. My way has been pulled to bits but as we are now he walks with or without the lead and only go
