    i have had lots of spinning rods over the years, the best I ever used is a 9 ft macmartin, not easy to get but lovely rod

    sorry to say I,m waiting for the same op. have to get the tendon stitched then gat a bit of the bone shaved off then the tendon screwed to the bone, its gave me trouble for years but can,t put up with it any more, I have been told to expect 6 months of minimum. not good as I,m a plasterer. think I will be getting it done sometime this month. hope all goes well for you. good luck

    where did you get them, I,m after a new pair after my irish setter started letting in big time after less than a year

    there could just have been a fall of them in. I remember about 10 years ago I was out with me 2 springers I shot 11 in about an hour and a half, missed at least the same again. went back 2 days later and only rose one

    as said above about the howa stock. once the stocks sorted you should be good to go very accurate rifle. buy the best scope you can afford.

    We,re having awful trouble at moment. I hunt with pack of harriers and deer are giving us lots a hassle. give me a shout and I will try to sort it out for you.lol

    I think my most memorable stalk was a large 8 point sika hybrid on the open hill took about 45 mins to get in for a shot but took over 4 hours to get him out
