    If you believe that then you obviously haven't worked as many different ferrets for as long a time as it would take for you to realise that the above statement simply isn't that case.. dont think i got my point across clearly what i meant was a young pet bred ferret is no different to a young purpose bred ferret working wise when entered properly and no im no expert with consistant decades under my belt but ive had both from a pet home and purpose bred have you?my ferrets may not be world beaters in others opinions they may be shite but they do the job for me im no big time great white h

    aye they all differ as with all animals sum good sum better sum shit but in my opinion all will work te sum degree and given a chance can only get better after a few seasons for example my albino hob hes slow te check a bury takes his time never in a hurry sum would class him as shit and would of sold him by now i would say hes steady likes te check things out and follows his nose.My jill on the other hand rushes in and is done with a warren in no time so yes alot of it is out of our hands but they will all work and ive no doubts that a well bred and cared for pet ferret will work just as good

    a ferret like any other working animal has to learn its game, too many people chuck a young ferret at entrance to a burry and expect mirracles and when it shows no interest in goin its on gumtree a week later and thats why theres so much shit workers, you gotta give em a chance at least two hard seasons . but like ferrets88 said its all about what you put into them i see no reason when given half a chance that a pet ferret cant become an accomplished hunter/worker.Dont get me wrong worker to worker is always best for that wee bit reasurance, but sometimes you got to work with what you got or c

    in an ideal world yes i agree worker to worker is best but as ive said before i have an albino hob from a pet home and he works fine granted this was his first season and didnt do much but he pushed a few into the nets and thats enuff for me in my opinion all ferrets will work to varying degrees sum good sum bad whether their from a pet home or not

    imo the colour of a ferret makes no difference to their workin abilities some work well some are shit but to say that one colours better or more steady ie easier to handle than the other just aint true like ive said in all colours some good some bad imo its all to do with the amount of time you put into them A.T.B

    my best day fishing was with an old pal (not a friend any more hes a pr*ck)anyway it was on a stocked fishery he took me too, I caught a ten pound rainbow on a fly another friend gifted me then returned it, he was so gutted he took it upon himself to raid their stock pond with his net.Hes got the front to call himself a fisher man too feckin fud and this was when i was fairly new too fishin best feelin ever.

    theyre rife here in aberdeen see them all the time. the other day i saw the biggest fox ive ever seen in broad daylight walking [BANNED TEXT] past a bunch o kids playin football couldna believe it,it was tottally unfased by what was goin on round about it theyre gettin too bold for my liking.
