I would give my left bollock to have a leader who says we are going to put the British people first, bring back industries, and stop other countries ripping us off and actually does it. Common sense really and struggle with the divs who argue against it.

Got a weeks caravan holiday coming up North Devon, I just had a email from Parkdean requesting I send them a copy of my driving licence and a picture through a company called Yoti to prove who I am. We have 500 men a day coming into this country with no ID but we welcome them with open arms put them up in a hotel all expenses. I have paid for my holiday, they have all my home details but if I don't send them ID they will cancel my holiday. Im not sending it f**k them willing to lose my holiday rather than submit. Seriously couldnt make this shite up!

Always found that one strange 35 years paying in to get full pension so if you started work at 16 you should either stop paying or be able to retire at 51. In essence you continue paying until your "official" retirement age another 16 years for no added benefit?

Yep now we are talking. I did mention the incentivising of full time working in my first post mate and I did say stop the benefits for illegals and anyone who hasn't contributed that would solve that problem in one fair swoop IMO. Have a look back you may agree with a few more Ideas

And thats the sad part your Grandson is genuinely in need. Thinking about it now I probably know more people claiming benefits than not. We have 2 guys where I work claiming PIP whilst working full time one is a diabetic and fat as f**k the other has anxiety but manages to pop in a full pub every night. I don't care what anyone says that's just not fair and certainly not on people like your Grandson.

Benefits in the 80's and 90's were not a lifestyle choice though. Most people on the dole wanted to work and were actively seeking work even moving abroad to get work or working on the side to survive. Now its just to easy to stay on it because the system is against the working person.

By that thinking the illegal migrant who is buying his packet of hobnobs out of his benefits is paying back into the system, you cant differentiate on this. To be clear from where I stand and its probably more extreme than yours : Benefits to illegals.........STOPPED Benefits to people who are not disabled.......STOPPED Benefits to people who choose it as a life style choice........STOPPED

I know 7 people on benefits, 5 are on disability and all 5 can 100% work and it is now a lifestyle choice by their own admission. In fact to rub salt in the wound they think I'm mad working now I've been diagnosed with Parkinsons. 2 work, 1 full time the other p/t but are topped up by benefits because the pay they get is shocking. I know who I think deserve it and who don't and I would have no problem stopping/cutting the first 5's benefits to give extra to the 2 who actually work. If however it didn't make any difference then we may as well all just throw in the towel and go

For days now we have had MSM ramming it down our throats that 1 in 4 youngsters are claiming benefits. These kids are in a lot of cases working minimum wage, are constantly being told they have no chance of buying a house and in very few cases ever have a chance of bettering themselves. How the hell do they think the 3 out of 4 that actually get out of their bedrooms feel about that? Its never how we can resolve these issues and positivity its just about taking more money off the people who are actually contributing to the state and telling them how much harder its going to be on them.

Been fishing the stathe drain during the winter for the pike funny enough. Its a water I will be targeting for the carp after June 16th been hit bad by the otters but still rumoured to hold a couple of 30's. The pic attached was just after xmas up by the sluice leading into the Parrett, had a small jack that day. -
