  1. Its crazy to think 2.5 days to go from car to class 1, 1 day reversing, 1 day driver training, half day test. Obviously have to do your theory first, which judging by our drivers appears to be the hardest part 100% pass rate with our lot on the driving though.

Just passed this in Umberleigh North Devon, couldnt stop but did a google search and found it as I was gutted I didnt get a picture. Passing today looked like somebody had thrown red paint over it but stunning all the same.
  3. Blood test now apparently but dont even try the doctors even though the advert on the TV says all men over 50 should get tested the gestapo on the reception wont book a appointment unless you got blood in your piss! Interesting about the nettle tea, I've reverted to being 8 years old and don't drink any liquids after 7pm still getting up once or twice in the night though........dropped off the cliff when I hit 50.
  4. It is mate a 10 minute walk from my house, I reckon there's only 10/15 carp place is a shit hole really. I spent 2 weeks baiting and cleaning a spot every evening a while back the day before I was due to fish it some little scrotes lobbed 2 shopping trolleys right on my spot I have 3 other tickets but keep getting drawn back there. I pick a bag of rubbish and dog shit bags up each time I go, annoying part is there are bins dotted around the place but its free fishing so I give a little back that way.
  5. No mate pond off the back of a38 have to battle the druggies drunks and shopping trolleys but there’s something about it keeps me wanting to fish it. Walrows had some investment lately cracking venue now doing 30’s every week and cheap as chips just had a knarly looking 16lber
  6. Reading that sent shivers down my spine it’s so true
  7. Holiday Inn one of the corporate hotel chains taking them owned by IHG group, Ive already wrote to them and advised I will never use them again.
  8. Funny you mention that St Johns lane near the centre was called Kebab alley by the locals when we moved in its now had its name changed to flip flop alley. We moved there a little over 3 years its changed massively in that short period of time we are right on the outskirts so we only notice it when we venture into the town. Thanks mate appreciate the thought. We just got the house to where we want it and now we may have to have them move in, like you though I wouldn't have it any other way.
  9. Bridgwater, its why we moved down that way and looking like they will be moving in with us for a bit now. In all fairness Im not sure its migrants going to be moving in on this one think its a divorce settlement issue but the shortage is definitely down to "over crowding" in the area. Latest figures show there are just 267 council houses available in the whole of the Sedgemoor area and the local Holiday inn and care home are now housing over 450 illegals. You don't need to be a mathematical genius to work out what shit storm we are walking into.
  10. So true, my lad and his wife just been issued a section 21 on the property they rent with their 3 year old and 6 month old giving them 2 months to move out. Mortgage and 3 bed rentals beyond their joint incomes so 2 beds are there only options. Letting agents are so inundated they are only taking on 7 applications before shutting down adverts, shocking situation.
  11. Probably did mate but never paid any attention to them always after the marbles in the bottle. Did get stuck in the mud over at Pill once managed to drag myself out but was absolutely covered in it got one of the biggest bollockings of my life off my Dad.
  12. Eid riots in Southall London and not one mention on MSM Nigel Farage SHOCKED by Eid RIOTS in West London as youths throw RUBBISH and bottles at police (youtube.com)
  13. Used to find loads when we were kids in the mud on the River Avon as well as clay pipes and codd bottles, being kids we used to just smash them up especially the codd bottles to get the marble out. Understanding the history behind them now makes me feel a little ashamed.
  14. Two Tier policing at its finest, apparently they broke away from the march they organised to cause the damage. Anyone who's been caught up in a police escort for a football match knows you step one foot outside the cordon you get battered, arrested and sent straight to court that's even if they don't serve you a section 60 before you get that far.
  15. I get that but the more studies, investigations reports and podcasts produced and publicised telling the wider public of these issues is all the better in my book. I'm listening to one of Tommy Robinsons podcasts at the moment on Rumble with Momus Najmi his honesty regarding Islam is refreshing and explains so much. Link below if anyone is interested Episode 31 - SILENCED with Tommy Robinson - Momus Najmi (rumble.com)
  16. Under the Clifton Suspension Bridge this morning
  17. Not "from the swim" but "coming back from the swim" after packing up
  18. Get what your saying mate but the Uighirs and the Coptic Christians are both being persecuted for their religion and the Buddhists havent got the best track record for embracing other religion's either. We on the other hand are inviting Islam and its beliefs in this country whilst openly being told of the long term intentions.
  19. If the Henry Jackson Society poll figures don't get people worried nothing will.
  20. I think we can all agree what's happening is shocking and in the ideal world your spot on, but we don't live in a ideal world. You obviously have experience in the permitting, regulations requirements and placement for "new build" sewage treatment plants so I will leave it there.
  21. I'm not defending it I'm explaining why its happening. We create too much waste its very simple, the infrastructure in place is not capable of coping with the waste we produce. Our local sewage treatment plant expansion was blocked by the residents for years and is only now going ahead regardless of the thousands of extra houses that have been built in that period that are serviced by it. Strongford sewage treatment plant £40 million expansion blocked by residents. Google it every time a expansion or new treatment plant is required there are objections. Wessex Water have a sewag
  22. I'm devastated by the state of our rivers and seas but a massive percentage of the dividends paid out to investors are propping up the pension companies that pay our private pensions. Again its shocking but its hypocritical to blame just the water companies we also have to take some of the blame, every time someone empties their half used pint of milk down the drain, buy a yogurt, drink a beer or even have household waste taken to landfill (creates leachate) we add to the problem and create waste that needs to be treated . We are too small a island to continue down this route and not suff
  23. Picture of my back garden first year we moved in I live near the somerset levels so just expect it, plays havoc trying to keep a tidy lawn but it could be a lot worse.
  24. Not sure if you have done it already but this will give you an idea of where you are at environmentally just put in your postcode Check the long term flood risk for an area in England - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) And the local water companies all keep records of the sewer and foul drainage which you can download free off their websites
