Yep been hearing that story. Problem is the government are such compulsive liars, Starmer is hated more than any PM since Thatcher and you have the internet spreading false rumours nobody knows what to believe. I do think there is so much shit surrounding Starmer now that at some stage some will eventually stick.

They say we are better off now than ever but can you imagine going back in time and telling your grandparents that your on minimum wage you can buy a packet of fags, pop into the pub and have a couple of pints and then call into the chippy on the way home grab four lots of fish and chips for your family and that's your days wage gone!

Another nail in the coffin of democracy in the UK. On another note a lot of rumours that the reduction of jail time being implemented is to free up space as the government are expecting a summer of discontent, makes you wonder what's coming over the horizon.

The cause is people with lower standards able to work for less, the effect is the indigenous population suffer. The Government implemented policies knowing what the outcome would be, in this case Waitrose took advantage of that and the consequences are showing themselves. Its pointless debating its not effecting you so you don't see it.

If your going to debate sensibly then I will respond. Of course we all want the best price we can get but that's a different thing from what we are discussing. As a individual you wouldn't do a job for less than what you would consider it to be worth doing as your standard of living is going to be higher of that than someone who is living in squaller in a 2 bed house with 4 other people. If people can afford to work for lower wages because their standards aren't as high as the indigenous population then sooner or later the indigenous population will be adversely effected. Here's

Fact is the indigenous western folk for years have been used to certain standards and lifestyles. They go to work to make money, the more money you earn the better the life you have. What successive governments have done have brought in people who come from shit holes, they are happy to work for minimum wage which suit the government and Mr Double Barrelled name who employees them. Mr Smith on the estate has 5 of them move into a 2-bed house a few doors up, which is luxury for them. I've got something similar camping gaz one runs off a cv470 bottle you put water in the base to capture the grease for easy cleaning. Take it on all my longer fishing trips now.

Its Indians who are predominately Hindus mate not Muslims, its part of this amazing trade deal that Starmer has agreed with India. I would be more concerned this deal has been done just as India has attacked Pakistan. There are 1.6 million Pakistanis and over 2 million Indians in the UK we could end up with a foreign war being fought on our shores. Keep a eye on the evening news apparently Pakistanis are calling for protests outside Indian embassies and will be interesting to see how the police handle this one, these two cant even have a cricket match without battering one another.

Happens in all large organisations. NHS was the worst I've seen management meetings to discuss the next management meeting and British Gas (lpg) had a rep on the payroll for 4 years that nobody even knew who he was!

Light lure fishing on the local canal and first time fishing for my 4 year old grandson, he only lasted 15 minutes but I loved every bit of it.
