The bigger question is this: due to Nadal's knee and Federer's age, are we now looking at a "Big Two" rather than a "Big Four" ie Djokovic and Murray? It's possible. Personally I don't think Nadal or Federer will win a major again, except maybe Nadal with the French next year.

Some really good posts here! As for the British thing, I look at it this way; in grave times of years gone by, every Brit has stood shoulder to shoulder as one to defend our island. Yes some of us are Welsh, Scottish, English and we all love the different identities but at the same time we are ALL British and I think that's what makes us Great Hope Andy can do this !

Of course Murray is on a hiding to nothing here sadly. If he wins, media will say he had an easy route to Wimbledon.

Collins beat Eubank twice and Benn twice. I reckon he's a bit old to make a comeback now. I would have thought so too, but he was on Talk Sport saying he was getting back in the ring. Don't know who he's thinking of fighting though.

Wasn't that Irish guy, Collins who fought Eubank thought of in the same calibre as Benn etc? He was on the radio few weeks ago saying he was making a comeback.

Is it me or did everyone seem to be into boxing in those days? I remember being in the last year of school when Bruno fought Tyson and the whole school was buzzing. Kids don't seem to be that into it these days? But like I said, could be just me. Its just I remember the pubs bouncing when say Benn v Eubank fought or Lennox fought Holyfield, now I don't see the excitement as much

Ive heard some English guys say we Welsh always turn to the Welsh language if an Englishman comes into a pub here but ive never seen this at all. I reckon we are pretty welcoming in the valleys. -

Yes it was a wooden thing hung around your neck. Way before my time though. On the other side of it, I went to a Welsh only school and was caned for speaking English. You wouldn't believe it nowadays but its true. Welsh it still spoken here a lot (im in Carms.) -
