  3. keep saluki's or saluki x greys for what they do best,, in my opinion, if u wanted a digging dog buy a pup that sire and dam have been proven,, if u wanted a rabbiting dog try and keep any type of lurcher under 23" will have a much higher kill ratio, if u wanted to do the reds u dont necceserily need a bull x, but something thats bred frpm proven workers,, so on and so on, crossing a saluki with a bull, what would that bring?????????my opinion nothing,, why would a dog need endless stamina for a fox or pig, or why would the saluki need the bull for daytime?? jmo, shaun

  16. a friend of mine has a collie whippet grey,,and she never did come in season the bitch was about 6 years old when he decided he wanted a pup out of her so took the bitch up the vets and they said is she a working dog he says yes she said dont work her for 12months so he never and on the 12month she come in. had a couple of cracking pups, wouldnt worry pal shaun

  21. like nothenlite said depends what you run and where you run it,, as for recall never had a problem with mine,, i think you have to be more patient with them as pups but once theyve bonded with you there brilliant. i wouldnt have it any other way now, i also think that a saluki is no good once its passed around, there a one man dog,, jmo,, cheers shaun
