Just spoke to the local gun shop, they know the make, model and "untinkered" it should be under 12ftlbs. They'll chrono it anyway just to be sure. Thanks for the help chaps!

Hello to all! This is my first post and your help would be appriciated. I have a friend at work who is selling his BAM XS-B26 in .22. He bought it a while back, fired 50 shots through it and its been residing in his loft ever since. In very good condition obviously! I believe it's a Chinese copy of a HW95. I googled it, not too much info out there but what came back is it may be over the 12 ft/lbs. I don't have a FAC and don't fancy a being banged up. Just wondering if anyone knows any different? He only wants £60 too, does that sound reasonable? Cheers in advance!
