hi guys.
ive had a few dogs in my time and trained them to an ok standard and sold a few on. but i have one now a black lab 13 months old. i got her at six months from a mate to train up for him as he is flat out farming.everything going smoothly with canvas dummies and winged dummies. then tonight took her out with a couple of 12 week partiridge that died when crating up to see how she responds to feather. answer not well. she will pick and bring it back but she really crunches on them and tore the breast. i have been lucky enough to never have a dog thats done this before so wondered if
update on the gamecovers. anyones picked up yet. most of my maize is there still only 8 inch high.as for the campaign mix and kale. been hammered by slugs and flea beetle.gunna have to redo at least 4 plots.
does anyone have exprience with ducks. ive reared and shot ducks for a while but usually its a case of standing around a pond to shoot and them landing back on the same pond. this year i want to feed the ducks away from the release pond so they can be in a drive and driven like pheasant. is this a wise idea is it do able and if yes how.
Many thanks
