Had new dog out this morning soon as a let him off he was off couldn't get him bk lost sight a him when a seen him he came bk what can a do to stop him from bolting

Got that dog a was talking about everything great so far very friendly walks well on lead goid with kids settled into kennell the odd bark now n again took him to park with ball threw ball but he wouldn't pick it up soon as he got to ball he returned to me without it what do u guys think
