  1. I have seen those coyote greyhounds on here I think someone posted a video with an old boy on in who kept them. To be honest there is plenty of good British stock around - just a case of finding the right ones. ATB S2HI guess some would say white tail deer but you aren't gonna find a handful of dogs that could take one regularly and that is illegal so not being bred for.legality aside, what makes them so hard to catch that only a handful of dogs can get them regularly? Speed and the ground they live on is wide open and rough as can be. Its just real tough to catch em is all. I'm not sayin all

  3. The ones I've seen have been decent dogs , But as with anything,it can be good bad or indifferent, just because certain breeds are in there won't make it work a particular way . Do your home work that's the main thing.
  4. I couldn't be doing with a dog that doesn't jump it would be next to useless, for me.
  5. I bet Charlie wishes he never asked , I asked on here about 3 years ago and the thread went tits up and ended up getting locked
  6. Not that fast then What's that lamp I have here the red one is it? Or did you have it back
  7. Yea mine were born 31st of May /1st of June. Good to hear they are doing well and as you say this will be the season where all the hard work pays off , All the best
  8. Ive never owned the best dogs in the world, ive owned the dogs that the world wanted. If i wanted a superior Jukel id not seek a mutt Socks related,id want one Morton related and if i need to explain the difference betwixt both id not bother. you bread a litter a couple of year ago Morton, you and your son kept one, if I remember wright you lost yours, if you breed the dogs the world want's who on this site got one of your pups? and who can back up that there a superior jukel, and if not what happened to these superior pups? Sure the gaffer had one off morton
  9. I remember this litter being born ,as I'm sure they were born the same day as the litter I bred ,nice to see them as adults ,hope they have done all you want
  10. Glad it all ended well , but what amazes me if you'd have lost the dog ,he'd have been sitting waiting for you by the motor Wondering what all the fuss has been about maybe the home command is a good one for walkers lol
  11. They have thrown to the Saluki Fuji ,pts now.
  12. Was that involving a slip right at the end of a blitz at 800 yards ?
  13. Wasn't boots' mother black? Good luck with the pups lads hope you get what you want.
  14. I like your grasp of english language roybo lol. I agree with your comments, but the word 'game' isn't restricted to fighting dogs and birds. There are many instances where 'gameness' comes into the equation. I think socks touched on a point about greyhounds being game, and I agree with that., Not all greyhounds, same as not all bulldogs, but it takes guts, drive, determination, 'gameness', for a greyhound to continue to chase the hare on track when it's broken/fractured a bone in it's leg for example, until the end of the race. I know that their only running for a short while, but it mu
  15. But I suppose,if you are running a few rabbits ,why the need to call a dog game ,as surely gameness will never come into it?
  16. I suppose it's semantics . And the fact that gameness is a phrase that's been used for GAME dogs and birds for millennia. When even some winning game dogs may not be game ,to them I suppose calling a lurcher game is at odds with their ideals.
  17. Sorry yes typo. Never used one tbh although have known lads use motorised one for lurchers , I understand slat mills are totally different.I know they are used by the bull types... As I say cracking workmanship.
  18. Looks good workmanship ,I see on the site you say from £245 what would the cost of a good size one be for lurchers?
  19. And that's a fair way of describing a lurcher that will tackle anything
  20. I think we need definition of the word game again lol. It generally means different things to different people. I've heard 10 week old pups described as "game" when they probably mean full of beans a bit of a live wire. But in the context of pitbulls I doubt there are many lurchers that would be "game"
  21. No it was the dog himself who jacked wouldn't blame either ,
