  1. looks well put together pal
  2. I've always kept bull crosses, and a Saluki/coursing bred cross will beat them hands down on anything barring teeth , deer included . Yes there are fast bull greyhounds but they won't have the stamina "generally" that a coursing bred dog will have. But if it's foxes you want I'd go for a bull cross or wheaten cross. Jmho. But I think both crosses would benefit from other breeds in there ,preferably each other
  3. alternatively.......get a coursing dog x bull cross maybe 2nd or more generations down the line where the both parents do the job ,they are about , just whether you can get your hands on them
  4. I agree fully, defo better x's for fox work out there,if the sal's 1st x's got enough hardship i have no doubt a lot would fall by the wayside There's definitely some that will do the job but picking the one out of a litter of 6 week old pups is a bit of a lottery, raising it to adulthood,to find it wasn't the one would break my heart Not to bad if you want a dog for a bit of everything and he doesn't take to it ,but if it was to be the main job maybe better looking to the obvious candidates
  5. I'd say there is better dogs for foxes. You may well find Saluki crosses that will turn their hand to them, but I'd edge my bets ,and get something where both sides of its lineage do them . May save you some heart ache in the long run
  6. Best way to go, 2 parents that do what you want.....always the best way to start.
  7. How's it going with the pup teckers? You getting with it OK?
  8. I enquired about a few things off Alibaba. Never again ! That was through email . they didn't know what I was talking about..made the mistake of talking on the phone.but them I am from the black country
  9. What size has she made socks? That year has flown by
  10. If they had a dial with 1-5 to dim I shouldn't think it would make them much more expensive ,it's the actual development, if they have to use new mouldings etc. So maybe if they start from an existing lamp and use different/better/ more suitable parts, the cost wouldn't be so great. Probably best helping them along by telling them what led type you want and the beam shape etc by doing a bit of research into what led 's are suited to what we want
  11. If you put extra features in to a lamp, along with the manufacturers development cost,it's bound to cost more than the £45 that a 150 costs,it stands to reason. It depends what you want Cheap ,quality, performance. You can usually get 2 out of 3 at the same time but not all 3.
  12. and is your dog directly out of him? or a grandson
  13. when was the dog about? or hows old would he be
  14. Very expensive. You need to prove that your idea is unique and no-one else has applied for the patent ,even if there idea hasn't been made into a product, they may have patented it. You have to search worldwide patent offices ,to see that it has never been granted or pending, then have drawings made up and apply, the patent office then decide if it's original which takes a good while.
  15. There's always lads asking for collie crosses ,and can't find genuine ones ,so I'm sure if you put the word out .....
  16. Not my photo and hope the lad don't mind , A sister to my and a few dogs on here
  17. Not worth the hassle ,you'll only be slagged off on here ,and have your kennels raided
  18. they also get in the wrong hands and get bred to anything by folk who don't care
  19. she's a strong bitch dark destroyer
  20. The £99 for life is a good deal if you break it down over a lifetime, whether it's needed every year or not,it's something I'd consider ,for peace of mind sake
  21. She's coming on mate, let her have a look come september
