  2. mate your not the only onev confused patterdales means different things to different people ask one bloke he'll say patterdale ,another will say fell ,with dogs that cross the barriers of both

  6. cheers lads she did actually pull her through the mesh ripped it open at the bottom,it was only the fact that the mastiff has a bench that the little one could get under and the fact that the throwing water over the mastiff that saved her and yes it was the little dog starting it ,its the only dog the mastiff goes for . proper wind up merchant :realmad: thanks for the concern Roy ps vet just phoned back 3 broke ribs not punctured lung,but chest cavity collapsed
  7. got back from work today,after a phone call from my neighbour,saying 2 of the dogs had been fighting. when i got in the yard all looked well until I saw my little patt cross' chest,the skin of which was all pumped up.when i looked closer the ribs looked broke with air under the skin.but she was ruynning around like her self. what had happen she had been arguing through the mesh with my neoxenglish mastiff ,when the mastiff lost it and ripped f**k out of the mesh and got at her just back from the vets ,the've kept her in to drain her lungs etc. luckily theres no shock rib cage looks w

Anyone on here know much about deisel engines ?I,ve been offered a isuzu trooper for mooching it,s only a 'J' REG but will do me for the dogs thing is the lad said he put petrol in it ,hence plumes of white smoke, Question is is this pukka or could it be more serious,seems pokey enough drives great. it's only £400 and the body &chassis are solid.cheers in advance for the help,Roybo

  15. hi dale I have a 3/4 pat 1/4 whippet she's a great little bushing dog pretty quick too her mother was an 1/2 cross brilliant on the rabbits in a small field obviously lacking top end ,my bitch looks like a fine patt with a tail,hates anything that moves i'll try to post some pics

  20. one my managers is an avid bird watcher,with 3 or 4 bird tables in our works yard. trouble is this has made a haven for the rats! after numerous comploaints from the office girls and warnings of the disease probs from me i suggested taking the terriers down. not on your life he said,so i suggested a live trap,thinking i'd have limited success. in tree days so far its took 21 rats,needless to say its pissed on my chips as regards to taking the terriers down but not bad going,even having 3 young uns in 1 go Roybo
  21. I know mate deep down in side i'm chuffed to bits with her mate and to top it off it was'nt hard on her,i've the feeling she was more chuffed than I was (tail wagging,big grin etc)plus she's walking around 1 1/2" taller Roybo
