  3. he said it may have been mites/fleas before but theres none there now, but caused himself the discomfort and became a vicous circle ,gave me some cream and said take him back in a week so touch wood may be the end of it thanks for the help lads
  4. not seen him yet mate going monday ,he's had another dose of bezol benzoate, to see if it shifts it ,it's been a problem off and on for a few months now,but seems worse of late and always the same area,the side of the one side of the neck,seems to settle for a few days then flare up again ...many thanks for the replies Roybo

  7. simoman it's on the right side of the neck just below the ear ,to the side,and yes it irritates the f**k out of him Its roughly the size of your palm,it seemed to have calmed down for a while but has flared up a bit the last few days hence treating with the benzol benzoate,and although theres no scabbing or broken skin you can see it is irritating him,cheers mate ROY
  8. ok folks,my russell has red itchy skin on his neck he's been worned flead etc, even tried duramitex and benzol benzoate but as yet to no lasting success any suggestions on what could be causing the irritation or a remedy, my other dogs are fine i.e no scratching etc no sign of fleas on any of them any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance Roybo

  17. i use shreaded paper,i shread all the old news papers up, well i get the kids to,cost nowt,and just get threw away after can be a bit of a pain if it gets wet though
