  6. How on Earth does such an innocent question ends up at this? Don't worry lads it's the solstice tomorrow, you'll have that miserable weather and muddy fields to walk soon. What you saying neems ,this question is innocent
  7. Jesus that's some fish ,I once ended up 200 yards out to sea, honestly thought I was going to die was swimming for an hour getting nowhere ,never again unless I can touch the bottom
  8. I do a bit of that too. You should buy a wetsuit and speargun and some carbon fibre fins. You'd be surprised how much you can find on the offshore reefs. Sometimes when you're angling from a kayak and nothing's happening you start wondering if there's anything down there or are you wasting your time. If you go down then you know for sure F uck that it would scare the shite out of me ,being from the Midlands the sea ain't for me
  9. So a terrier thats say 18lb weight goes into tight dark confined spaces for hours at a time to a big set of teeth in its own home and maybe do this sometimes a few times in the 1 day and every day its took out in its working life is not as admirable as a 70 to 90 lb lurcher taking 1 on the run? That is 1 of the most ridiculous statements ive ever read on here...and ive read some shite. Youv just said enough for me to know you either havnt done much terrier work or you play around with average russells, and yes I'll say it again it doesn't take what I'd call a great terrier to goe in to a de
  10. I think that's the problem with the countryside in general mate.
  11. I think all over these isles have something to offer ,and the variety is what is great from the fens to the highlands , there's something for everyone. The beauty is being such a small islands you can get anywhere in a day
  12. not any morein the county north of you ,if Warwickshire is your county
  13. Don't know why you'd compare lurchers to terriers ,doing a totally different job , Pointless , Both are worth their weight in gold if it's your sport.
  14. Shows how much I know about them then
  15. There's red not far from you cantona,
  16. dog man if you were closer you could borrow mine for a week, send it back when you've made your mind up. As evidently they aren't for everyone ,there must be someone not too far just for a look.
  17. must have been some sight to see, from what I've seen kangaroos a'int slow and i'd imagine not every dog would have been able
  18. I have had one of the tracer 150's it's lasted 2 seasons and also have a striker. The 150 has a longer throw and is brighter at its limit compared to the striker. I have never seen any difference in how the dog runs on either . I can understand some not liking them it's natural that some prefer one to the other. But like anything try and see one before you buy ,you may not like ,but like me you may like them ,simple. No need to go getting pissy over them lol
  19. Here's a litter for you pal But take a deep breath https://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/1619545-stunning-litter-of-cockapoo-lookalikes-sandwich.html
  20. Can be genuine reasons for getting rid of a young dog ,and even if they have just had enough ,it may not have been ruined and still young enough to mould
  21. Depending on the dog it used to fox and the like... but I have always liked a mixed bag tbh,and I would soon get bored only going out for one thing. It's nice to see a dog set it paw(?) to a few things in the same day/night if it were legal of course, but deer/fox/hare /rabbit were all good in moderation ,with the odd big night thrown in if you were travelling
  22. Compare like for like ,if you had a dinner plate size led,it would blow the blitz away, but I've had big lamps before and prefer to use something less bulky and I have never needed a beam that light 2 fields away ,if I used a halogen a 170 would be plenty.
  23. Never had a problem with the LED lamps ,put a fair bit away the last 2 seasons with one,and the dogs never seemed any different ,caught just as well. Mind after I had my eyes tested and got specs I could see more with both, the led and halogen, maybe a trip to spec savers May help
