  1. fair comment born to run but a bullx is one of the most versatile hunting dogs there is. it should be able to run everything thats in the beam all night long be it hare, fox or rabbit and be it 1 or 100 runs
  2. The cross I mentioned earlier seem to have the best of all worlds in my opinion and have found most do the job.
  3. devon, dorset, somerset and cornwall all great places to hunt and have found that they all seem to specialise in one quarry. so if you want somethink in particular just cross the county borders and there it is
  4. thats what people tend to forget stabba, that tbh the feet on a bullx make no difference at all. Infact the best bullxs ive seen have all had shit feet and the best footed bullx ive ever seen was an out an out cur.
  5. Wasnt a dig at you mate just jeep redboy must be the most used names when people really havnt got a clue how the dogs bred.Would that be Joe M. thats the one mate
  6. Can't think exactly where, if you go into Dorset from Yeovil is where we seen them
  7. I said jeep/ red boy as a very close friend had one. A dog that done its job and bred some good Lurchers apparently. But saying that joe was a good shape himself
  8. There are plenty of red in dorset
  9. Still think jeep or mayday as they just seem to be more athletic. Jeep dogs supposed to be ability based aswell. Know the mayfields bred some good Lurchers back in the day
  10. Agree with Aaron, there ain't many decent 3/4s about doin what bullxs should
  11. Dorset and Somerset are great counties to hunt.
  12. most of the lads on here dont know anything about bull dougs so most would just use pet bulls and alot do tbh
  13. i like the jeep/red boy dogs or bolio/tombstone. id perhaps use a mayday bred dog
  14. Was my mate that did it and it worked very well but didn't get any vids
  15. Get a rear wheel drive car, get a rim, drill hole on rim, blue nylon rope through with a not, jack back end of car up, put 'lure rim' into gear and go
  16. Won't let me inbox you gnasher
  17. Well im from south Devon and the hares round here can only be ran on the lamp as the fields are to small with to many gates and runs, most dog after a season or 2 learn to scoop them up quick, ran hares in Norfolk with my dogs fitter then they have ever been and they didn't come close to one of them. Mate came down from Norfolk whose dogs pick them up there easy yet didn't come close down here well 2 different people. I think it all depends on what cross and where you run them.
  18. If you did it correctly you would always get 9
