  1. Shutit ya bam.lol fook me ive ran out of likes again so this will have to do liked it for ya Paulus mate seems I don't use mine.
  2. That's why use a break stick or choke them. That leg lifting method gets you bitten
  3. Lurcher two great videos, the first video shows how little effect kicking has and how you shouldn't have a dog you can't contr should the situation arrise. Second video well done for showing a good eay
  4. Giro you hit it on the head. He was basically saying that hunt can do as they like and it's ok to poach for meat but no one should trespass for a fox
  5. ANTI . ANTI ANTI ANTI dontbe such a f*****g lemon im far from an anti
  6. i think the debate ha slost all purpose to the original post mate
  7. i understand that paulus i was trying to get my point across
  8. I didnt read the other thread but i'm sure that kind of statement gets folks backs up. Its an uninformed bollocks media based line that antis use like wildfire mate, complete and utter tosh.............. But you did give me some other info on another topic and it changed my views on a certain subject, i'm sure you remember.......... i know exactly what you mean lab and i dont by any means think that but that was to get my point across. I'm not knocking Keepers or Pest Controllers or even somebody putting a bit of meat in the freezer these in my eyes are genuine reasons to be doing wh
  9. i understand the point of hounds and to be fair i dont dislike it, i was trying to get a point across to leveller but i dont think i managed that. he said about people going to to kill foxes when not for pest control, i.e asked to do it, wasnt on or he didnt agree with it but accepted hounds. to me they are principally the same as not every fox the hounds killed was for pest control and i dont think anyone has the right especially in this game to condem another mans sport. Whether he has permission, is asked to do it or is just doing it for his own pleasure we as a hunting fraternity shouldnt
  10. Well what reason does the hunt have to kill foxes? Because they choose to most of the time not because they have to
  11. Well we got a few big parks scot where we used to go. Wish I'd never done it now
  12. That was my point , 30 hound for no reason other than sport is fine but a Lurcher isnt
  13. I think your right about that bitter taste, if something goes wrong or you have to kill young for whatever reason it is horrible
  14. Well leveller I don't normally condem another mans sport especially not in public but as born hunter said you did annoy me with your comment. Foxing with Lurchers if done properly is a battle of wits and grit, the dog misses and well that's it the fox has won that round. The fox has a fair chance and it tests the Lurcher in both ability and will. Hounds well to me there's no sport in it, all day chasing one fox through all manner of groin and should he go to ground he's still not safe. Now if this was for one problem fox as a manner of pest control fair enough but when it's to be spor
  15. Chart I love to see big dogs getting down to quarry, think it really shows desire and is a great sight to see
  16. Ain't that the truth lad, when I was about 15 -16 we used to go to 'gang fights', nothing serious really just aload of scrotes from different shitty council estates meeting to punch f**k out of each other and the amount of lads that where up for it til you got onto to the field is unbelievable.
  17. Sorry mate i'm not having that........If some knob has an out of control dog that he has no power control over and it attacks my Lab with an intent to do some serious damage then i'll do everything in my power to get that dog off. Now i wont be sticking my hands near its mouth and get bitten to f**k but i will stick my boot in. If its a killer then i hope its legs are strong.... See I suppose that's a fair point lab because each owner and dog is different. I have always manged to keep calm and sort out any problems yet my brother even with our dogs dogs as kids would panick and flail o
  18. f*****g hell the most serious post on here is about how to make everyone behave and is actually one of the best and most interesting posts on here atm
  19. Scot there's no need to boot the dogs though, all scraps can be split without being violent to either dog
  20. Bird havin been brought up round the real deal and running bull blooded dogs I wouldn't leave the house without a break stick. Gnasher I think the more intent the dogs have the easier they are to split because as you said there's no in and out. Only dog I've been bitten by was a f*****g yorky.
  21. Gnasher I don't think many of these have ever split up 2 dogs fighting like you said let alone 2 that mean it. I was told by hk that lads from your way used to use large net needles or such like from a fishing shop as break sticks . Think him and gt took them up there
  22. Cookie a lot of it is because fox is the ultimate test really. IMO anyway they way they turn and run and don't just die when caught
