  1. Not sure , I can send you some 1745 if you want to try some single .
  2. Getting paid to knit .. I like that ? , the financial outlay won’t come into it when the bunnys are hitting the net ?. I’d like to see the pic of the splicing tool , think I may steel your idea ?. Last season Smithie used a net that a good friend of his gave him, I was impressed with it so knitted us a 20yrd 4 1/2”double Strander with the same twine for “the horse shoe field” one of Smithies favourite drops and was going to invest in some 0.25 braid when I’d done that but with all this lockdown ( unsure of my work situation) I didn’t , but hopefully will.
  3. I’m the same bill, I knit a nice little 20yrd net for a specific job whilst on lockdown and have still to put running line /pins on it. Nice net by the way, did you fancy something different material wise rather than your usual ?.
  4. I think you intimidate them with your size, either that or your constant please , please, Pleazzze !. ?
  5. Yes totally agree. Is it cheating... Hell yeah, But so was lamping back in the day. It’s invaluable in recovering fallen stuff, glad I bought one.
  6. Yes you could but that is something it will NEVER be used for.
  7. ?... then I suggest that you leave the dog at home sir.
  8. Sent for twenty meters of 1745 premium tubing from dankung and they put some red 2050 in free of charge, something different to try ??.
  9. Yep.. enjoyed that, lad can certainly shoot. Hell of a collection ??.
  10. Back in early May I bought myself a scout lt, and for me it’s one of the best mass produced Cattys ever... period !. My kill rate has gone through the roof but shooting squirrels with trees in full foliage has proved to be a little difficult at times not only that but the occasional one hasn’t been picked due to dropping out of view, now I’m not like most people and every bird/animal that evades the game bag is food for a multitude of scavengers and I’m happy to leave the odd one. Now I think most of you know I tend to hang around with smithie in the winter months and we’ve often spoke about
  11. Are you after some from him ? If so I can get in touch for you
  12. Yeah, shoot straight n mind ya thumb ?
  13. Must admit I think I should have bought the 11mm mould, I’ve been having good results using 12 mm steel and looped 1745 tubes
  14. Both..? there’s 350 10mm shot in the Yorkshire pudding Tray.
  15. Made a few 10mm lead ammo up last night, should keep me going for a bit.
  16. 100% agree with the guy about the tool bag with years of bits a pieces in it.
  17. I nearly packed it all in Fred , sounds a bit drastic but that’s how it got me. I’m happy shooting instinctive with the scout now and won’t change.
  18. I started many years ago shooting instinctive but moved to both Ott and ttf , finally settling with Ott gangsta. On a good day I could hit anything but a bad day used to crusify me, same catty, same bands/ammo, same anchor/reference and it just didn’t happen !. It knocks your confidence. So I moved back to instinctive and for me the rest is history as they say. I would love to be able to shoot holding with my right hand ( I’m a lefty) it would open a lot of opportunities ( windows ?) . I may put a light set up on my spare scout and give it a go.
  19. Yeah seen them advertised on his site they do look alright
  20. You ever tried shooting instinctive Neal ?.
