  1. Was looking on aFacebook and a guy who makes and sells band sets was saying it was a blunt cutter that causes the band to snap prematurely
  2. Watched that guy on Facebook ( who is selling them). I think a handful of those wouldn’t go amiss.
  3. You maxing them out short straw ?.
  4. Some I took when I first got mine..
  5. Sorry pal I’ve only just seen this.. they are araucana x maran .. looks like one pullet and five young cocks ?
  6. This should have been socks’ post but he’s playing cap guns with his new fannys .. sorry friends in the air gun section ?
  7. Love my xm30s, for me it was about a small pocketable thermal to spot a heat source ( not bothered about crisp outlines ect) and this one works a treat. Can’t help but think you’d have got a far better deal with Ian at Blackwood outdoors tho.
  8. Bit of a collection going on there Greyman ??
  9. I’m currently shooting 1745 double, short draw / 10mm lead with some crazy results, you also have to max out any tubes to get the best out of them.
  10. Not sure , I can send you some 1745 if you want to try some single .
  11. Getting paid to knit .. I like that ? , the financial outlay won’t come into it when the bunnys are hitting the net ?. I’d like to see the pic of the splicing tool , think I may steel your idea ?. Last season Smithie used a net that a good friend of his gave him, I was impressed with it so knitted us a 20yrd 4 1/2”double Strander with the same twine for “the horse shoe field” one of Smithies favourite drops and was going to invest in some 0.25 braid when I’d done that but with all this lockdown ( unsure of my work situation) I didn’t , but hopefully will.
  12. I’m the same bill, I knit a nice little 20yrd net for a specific job whilst on lockdown and have still to put running line /pins on it. Nice net by the way, did you fancy something different material wise rather than your usual ?.
  13. I think you intimidate them with your size, either that or your constant please , please, Pleazzze !. ?
  14. Yes totally agree. Is it cheating... Hell yeah, But so was lamping back in the day. It’s invaluable in recovering fallen stuff, glad I bought one.
  15. Yes you could but that is something it will NEVER be used for.
  16. ?... then I suggest that you leave the dog at home sir.
  17. Sent for twenty meters of 1745 premium tubing from dankung and they put some red 2050 in free of charge, something different to try ??.
  18. Yep.. enjoyed that, lad can certainly shoot. Hell of a collection ??.
  19. Back in early May I bought myself a scout lt, and for me it’s one of the best mass produced Cattys ever... period !. My kill rate has gone through the roof but shooting squirrels with trees in full foliage has proved to be a little difficult at times not only that but the occasional one hasn’t been picked due to dropping out of view, now I’m not like most people and every bird/animal that evades the game bag is food for a multitude of scavengers and I’m happy to leave the odd one. Now I think most of you know I tend to hang around with smithie in the winter months and we’ve often spoke about
  20. Are you after some from him ? If so I can get in touch for you
  21. Yeah, shoot straight n mind ya thumb ?
